Ha, wrong. 3x110 will always be better for skating the city with shitty roads full of cracks and rough surface. 4x80 is a chore. Rocker isn't stable at higher speed

The tech geek in me really loves this! I just wish more companies were making more smaller, agile dance frames while these longer styles with big wheels are going ham on the market.

How small? They do have smaller than 243 mm. They go down to 215 mm for some of their 3 x trinity frames.

But the problem is that the current 4x80 frames (especially Trinity) have no rocker options. And they don’t experiment with different setups and layouts. All the experimentation happens in the larger frames these days. I’d like to see a prerockered setup in 4x80 or even 4x76 with a super short wheelbase. I’m not a huge fan of the triskate rocker for dance, but all the rockered short frames for Trinity seem to be 3x skates with flip axles.

@@astro_villain I seen that too most likely some china Abec 9s I’d still swap em for bones racers. I put bones in everything my skateboards and my skates. I have a 10year old set that’s better than some new ones I got.

Hi Ricardo, if you still have this frame and some trinity boots, try to put 3x125mm on them. It worked on my Next boots. I just had to put two washers in the front between frame and boot, to keep the wheels free. I don’t think there is currently any other compact rockerable 125mm frame.

Personally I think Powerslide is the most innovative brand on the market and I have a garage full of their skates, frames etc. Although I do believe they could improve their quality a bit more. Nevertheless, We should encourage such innovation and support any and all brands that are sincerely trying to address our wants and needs as skaters.

@@BalaHormiga my issue with them is that they’re Disroyal to their customers. They don’t stand behind their products should you have an issue, even if they state it on their website. Even if you can prove it to them with measurements and numbers the how and where they mess up they refuse to stand behind their product. Instead they point the finger at the local store, for them to assume the financial loss.

yes indeed proprietary stuff sucks A#$@#, best be somethign you can at least dyi fix if need like spacer 8mm id 4mm thick something like that off the shelf. i ran into this problem making my monster off road skates i had to put washers to keep the bearing off the frames and they had to be the right size, a bit tricky to assemble hold the washers in with a pin, then push the pin out with the axel .

4wheel frame with 2 different sizes of wheels is in my opinion more a pain in the ass... Have Hockey skates from Bauer with a Frame with High Low technology. Meaning 2x80 in the back and 2x76 in the front... It is not possible to change wheel 1 with 3 and 2 with 4 for example. But one the icon you don't have to. That's good and the frame looks really good. And wanna change from hockey skates to freeskates anyway soon. Keep up the good videos...

hey ricardo Can you please test the IQON CL20 Skates, there are no reviews on KZbin about them. I like the idea of beeing able to change your threewheels 110 urban skates to an fourwheels 90/80 agressiv skate with grindblock, because you got the iqon rail, which alone costs 200€, additionally the bearings, the wheels and the shoe everything for 250€. Now I'm very curious if the shoe is any good.

ATTENTION with IQON frames SPECIAL "IQON BEARINGS" are required, the reason is: Decode frames have NO "bearing bosses" on the inner wall :-( !!!

Hmmm. Beats having 5 sets of frames I guess. But I don’t want to thrash a power blading frame doing aggressive stuff I have a set of skates for. My power blading set is light and tight. And I have 3 pairs of VALO AB1’s for my aggressive stuff. My all time favorite skates. But my power set is my RAZORS graphite cults that I put a 45 degree strap on And some AB1 zebra liners in with a gel heel pad and a set of GC HD80 II. SO FAST. The broskows have flt4 flat setup, MEGAS flat setup, Flt3 anti, Roces frames anti. And why because I love flavors and style. Lol skate the world.

The best idea I ever seen. It Makes the Kizer Flux looks like a old toy, the dream frame. @disroyal could send a Grindblock to Lino. Unfortunately it's quite expensive, almost the same price of a brand new PS NEXT, and there is a vendor lock-in with the bearings.

The frame doesn't make much sense to me. How many people would want to change the wheels setting regularly on one set of frame? a set of wheels last very long time, no one will buy multiple set of wheels and swap them every sessions. Having multiple pairs of skate with different frame/wheel settings for different purpose is more convenient. And the regular frame is lighter too.

you make a good point i mean we all have a skate style and know the setup we want, swapping to smaller wheels might leave extra height that nobody wants, but that being said its fun to switch things up, for me if wanted to use small wheels any waisted space above wheels is a deal killer, no reason to be higher than need. no sure if that is a problem would like to see full review this is a nice introduction
