Of course, India is imperfect. India has hosted many corrupt governments, hate-mongering politicians, spineless civil servants. But India also has glorious minds like you, and a million others who keep these public servants accountable. As long as India has free, independent, & critical thinking individuals - India will rise. There are many amongst us who have left hefty ‘packages’ to serve our republic at the borders, at hospitals, at boardrooms, at universities. And there are many amongst us who are serving India with utmost honesty and sincerity in whatever we are doing in our lives. As long as we do not divide ourselves, or let others divide us basis our religions, caste, language, how we look, or what we eat - we become the true spokesperson of this beautiful country. There's a high likelihood - whenever you stand for politics of development, and rationality - you will be abused by the minions of useless political parties. But no matter what - never support the politics of hate, and always raise your voice for what is right, what is wrong, and resist the urge to get into what-aboutism. I’m sure in time to come, each of us will leave no stone unturned in making our beautiful country “an India of our dreams”. We may never reach that end - and that is absolutely fine as long as we are closing towards that end. I’m dedicating my 30s to three bets: getting good people into local politics, ensuring 100 Misfitters become part of the IFS/IAS/IPS through MisFits.bet in 2025/2026, & through the Global Governance Initiative, empowering many GGIans to become leaders in the social impact space, enabling them to work laterally with government institutions and scale their impact by influencing the core. Running away from India is not the solution. In the Post Covid world order, countries are growing more protective of their resources and opportunities, leading to rising xenophobia and barriers for outsiders. True impact comes from building a better India from within, where your roots, identity, and influence are strongest. India has strong institutions. While countries around us have been toppled by hate politics (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar), India has endured as a shining light for almost 80 years. Why? Because Indians possess an indomitable spirit. We may be fewer in numbers, but it is crucial for rational and progressive minds to start occupying important positions in this country. If you feel stressed and anxious about leaving India, please understand that leaving is not the solution. We need to be at the core of government systems, the Armed Forces, Foreign Services, Administrative Services, and politics. We must be the ones shaping an India built on rationality and unity. Achieving this is entirely possible with the right support, networking, and grounding. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. We need to dedicate 3-5 years to being part of the right community, building the right network, and fostering a strong support system. We may face setbacks in the short run, but in the long run, we will transform countless lives. An India of our dreams may remain a journey, but as long as we continue moving closer to that vision, we will have truly honored this colorful republic. 🇮🇳

There's rampant unemployment and joblessness in India amongst the youth is a problem to worry about. IDK why no one in the mainstream Indian media is taking up this issue. Go to the comments section of any major social media platform of the West, and you'll see what I'm talking about. The prehistoric filth in their minds is exposed in those comments section and Whatsapp echo chambers. They'd rather kill someone in the name of religion than actually get a proper job and earn an honest living. Constructive criticism & rationalism is an alien concept here and people are quick to jump to conclusions and be ultra defensive about the facts & truth. The only way this can be solved is at the grass root levels, public education. Govt. schools need immense funding to provide world class education which encourages critical thinking and challenging the status quo, without it we'll always be playing catch to modern economies.

Migration is a better option. Don’t misguide the youths. Let them make their life better. We are not in 1930s, youths are restless and world needs better people. If India and its system is not offering them what they deserve; they are free to be anxious and get out of that country so that they can do well. If you, Naman, would’ve an option to choose the country before you were born; you wouldn’t have chosen India.

Unfortunately India has successive governments with an economically left style of thinking with high burden on the middle class. Welfarism in Europe works because Europe is rich , in India such crippling bureaucracy and taxation stifles innovation and the endemic corruption with no rigorous anti monopoly enforcement creates cartelization at the top. This narrows the effective base of the middle class while a lack of openness to free trade due to misguided protectionist ideals and no allies means that India is doomed to build for and by itself. Most of the colleagues I know are arguably the creme de la creme of our society but nobody is interested in staying back because we see no hope in fixing the system due to simple electoral arithmetic which means we are obtaining better opportunities elsewhere and experiencing that. There's a reason that the upper class has established roots outside if they, who are privy to greater internal information choose to do so it sends a signal to others to do the same. Most of us would come back in a heartbeat but our system is not conducive for such a reverse migration. Maybe it shall become so some day we can only hope

I have a PhD in STEM field but had to do very menial job in Greater Noida with very toxic manager and peanuts like salary because of no opportunity for educated youths like us. Here the salary is impressively high, relatively low cost of living compared to salary, clean air (AQI < 50), excellent public transport network, honest health insurance (not the fraud ones like in India) & lastly most importantly productive work environment where you will be rewarded for your hard work maintaining a work life balance.

Europe, the place you are praising has never been colonized first of all. All the wealth siphoned from Indian subcontinent, had been to development of Europe. The facilities that you are praising about, is because of our money that's there, not because they invested it..India needs investment, it needs a lot of time to go forward. That is why India along with the Global South are called Developing economies. And Europe is already a developed one. Just, in case you get bullied in Europe, which is sure to be happening at some point of time, it will be the Indian officials who would come to your rescue, not the European ones. It has become a tradition to praise Europe facilities rather than work here, and develop the economy, having a PhD from STEM, that is a wonderful certificate. I am sure if you had applied for any positions in central research institutions, you would have been given much higher priority, either as a scholar or as an academician.

I did my B. Tech from a private university in Greater Noida. My class of 2020 had 186 students. As far as I can track, more than 160 of them have left India (for practical purposes), some went for PG (even unrelated courses) and some went for work (even for min. wage jobs) and many married abroad and then many NRIs who keep visiting regularly (indians just for namesake). Only few of us like me, stayed back. I regret my decision now. After years of gov. exams preparation, I have been incapacitated to get any skill-based employment in private sector without any networking. Today, I am alone and defeated in life, all thanks to KZbin propaganda videos that told me how India's time had come and as a civil servant I could be a part of that growth story. Now with no other option left in life, I am preparing for banking exams now. I just cleared prelims this year, maybe I would land up a gov job next year. I will save enough money and move to some gora country. With heavy heart, let me tell a little secret, we would have to better off as a british dominion status. We need a policy like China where immediate heirs of all CPC members are required to study only in Government schools to reform our basic education sector. The Higher education institutes also need to be reformed and scaled, focusing on modern knowledge and skill sets instead of ages old curriculum. Most importantly, our work ethics need to be reformed, where we stop slaving for Europe and American Companies for salaries that are meager in US Dollars but seem massive in INR. Only this way we can retain talent and stop brain drain.

Reasons for leaving india : 1 . Castism , discrimination, reservation on basis of caste ( it should be on income level) 2 . Poor Government facilities, Ex . Govt. hospital 3. Dirty education system 4. Rising Unemployment 5. Poor living standard 6. Justice only to rich , can't blame rich , Ex adani case , wrestlers case , pune porche incident , farmers protest, etc 7. Actually we are not as good as we think for example we know the condition of our city road , even we pay hefty sum of tax 8. Unequal tax , Govt. cancel taxes of ambani , adani , shouldn't they do of farmers. 9. No support, in literally anything may it be a startup , or you are a athlete you are to live a normal and compromised life. 10.Our best athletes were on road , who supported them, they are now only seen in tv ads , for example dhoni , virat ,etc. 11. Writing on cigarette packet harmful but not banning the industry. 12. And many more , think about it , where our money goes

I am a Indian who turned Canadian. I still call India home, Canada is more like a Karmabhumi for me. I love the progress India is making, but its not alone, a lot of developing economies are doing the same. Phillipines, Indonesia, some african nations etc. Where I think Indians in India are going wrong is believing in the fact that India is already there at the top. It is a 1st world. The Indian media is busy cherry picking an incident abroad just to make people happy that living abroad is bad. But its also the same time when Canada experienced the most number of Indian immigrants both legally and illegally. While moving to Kannedda just for the sake of it is stupidity and ignorance but one cannot discount the fact that for a section of the society its a hellhole in India. If Canada/US would open its borders half of India would arrive and for the right reasons. Indians in India needs to work hard. India is growing and must continue to grow for the next 50 years without any major corruption to come in terms with today’s modern western societies. People who have never lived in the 1st world societies would never understand how rational societies behave and act. Be it Congress or BJP or AAP or X, everyone will support corruption as long as the Indians are buying their narrative and not asking “what is in it for my family?” in every election manifesto. “Will my child get a job? Will I get social security? Will my roads get fixed?” . These are the real questions. Not who ate beef cause these politicians would protest beef and travel to europe to enjoy their fav Beef burger on tax payers money… Just like how Naman mentions politicians saying nation first while sending their kids abroad❤ Jai Hind. India must rise❤

Its not easy to get admission into top notch Indian Universities like IISc, IITs, NITs, IIMs, AIIMS etc. So, the students who dont get quality education leave the nation to study abroad. Even the worst part with good Indian Universities is they are not oriented with solving Indian society problems. Graduates from arts stream, Diploma holders in Tech, ITI and less educated people are finding Engineering solutions for common people and inventing new machines. On the other hand the bright minds from National Universities are leavinng the shore to serve foreign society❤😂

People get this simple thing so wrong........politicians in India, whether honest or corrupt generally get rich enough to be able to send their kids to foreign countries. Such is not the case with an average middle class family who have to sell even their properties for their childrens education.....which stresses the financial situation. Idk why people stress so much on leading with example when there is a clear difference in financial situation. Its like a beggar complaining about Ambanis spending.

I think , people have enough information available today. What they need is correct way of interpreting it. Once you will set the bases on Human depravity then things will look different. 1. Study about Historical Pattern of Human depravity. Taking others life for their living. 2. How some Men stood against it and brought order in system. what was their core idea ? Giving their life for others. Once the interpretation is correct, future officers will solve the issue in hand with more clarity. Information will pileup daily, We need correct perspective to solve the problem. Again May sound a religious teaching, But that it is. Learn and Keep Good Moral. Every human is equal, love is living for others by laying down yours.

I have come to realize that this is a way for middle class for getting back their taxes from govt. A father who pays income tax to govt all his life sends his son/ daughter to IIT where they get the best resources out of tax payers money and eventually leave India. The old father indirectly gets value out of his tax money. I know its a bad strategy but this is the only way of getting something back from govt.
