Well that was interesting. Reading a biblical interpretation into the film seems like an entirely personal and subjective pursuit--I don't think that was the intention of the screenwriters--but I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Having just watched the movie recently, I can at least say that it's a very entertaining film and that both Pesci and Tomei give excellent performances.

Interesting video, but I’d like to point out that the Statue of Liberty wears shackles that connect to broken chains. It’s meant to represent abolition and freedom in general.
