Just get a Squier. Just as quality, made by fender, and a quarter of the price. My main guitar is my HHS Squier strat and it sounds and plays great.

Do you think it matters much that he uses a maple finger board? Does it make much difference if you were to use a pau ferru fingerboard?

It really doesn't BUT the maple will give a tasteful warmth to an otherwise very cold stratocaster. Pau Ferro is a solid wood choice tho 👍

It’s the least important thing in this signal chain, the harshness of the fuzz makes such a small difference negligible and if you can barely hear it nobody else will either, so negating sound play whatever makes you feel better and play better above everything else- the difference in bending playing a maple and rosewood/pau ferro fingerboard is far more important and up to you

nah. recording equipment / setup of mics completely take out the importance of the type of guitar honestly... as long as it's fine quality

the wood the guitar is made of does impact the tone but not so much with how much effects hes using the pickups matter more
