My favorite group since first hearing them in 1964 as an 11-year-old. And this is their best song from their best album, Let It Bleed. Guess that makes it my favorite song by them.

We already knew that Keith Richards was a genius. But, if Wyman created that bass track, he's been extremely underestimated, IMO.

you're hearing the filters kick in and out. They are filtering out the other instruments to isolate the tracks
