That life is the same everywhere. Even within one country, the differences in culture can be significant. Keep reading Christian books. Construct walls around the ideology that the bible is the inspired word of God and he wrote it without errors and you will grow in your faith. It will not be an objective reality, but who needs reality when you are grounded in faith.
@kenshiloh2 жыл бұрын
@@baptistboy2882 Hi. You have claimed, basically, that Christians are delusional. Do you agree that delusional people are not aware that they are delusional? My question is, how do you know that you are not delusional? For example, the only way to be sure that you are not delusional - is if you are not delusional! It is a vicious circle, an absurdity. Put another, you reject the Bible, but how do you know that your reasoning is sound? That is, don't you have to have sound reasoning to determine if your reasoning is sound? Atheims is insane! Moreover, the only way a person could be sure that they are not delusional is for God to reveal the truth to them. You cannot refute the existence of God, yet you can be honest in saying that God is the only known way we can know anything at all! Are there any exceptions? That is, without God, you have to place blind, unwarranted faith in your own intellect, which means living in intellectual - and thereby, spiritual - darkness. The damnable reality for an atheist is the life continues on after the grave. Hell is referred to as the 'outer darkness.' Do you reject God's moral code? There is no moral code in hell! In fact, Jesus said that there are people who will torture you there. Yet, Christ died on a Cross so that we could know Him; you can know Him now and into eternity - total assurance. However, if you are living as if there is no God, you sure as hell better be right! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Hi. The best, and really only, way to build your faith is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me (i.e. knows Me personally) shall have rivers of living water bubbling up to eternal life." Conversely, if a person is not filled with the Holy Spirit, if they do not have that river of life, neither do they believe in Jesus - neither are they saved! Then, after the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, He will open your heart and mind to the things of God - through the Bible and other Christian books. Hope you won't mind a few suggestions: for Bible study concerning the Holy Spirit, I recommend John chapters 14-17 and Romans 8.16. If these truths are not a part of your life, ask and you shall receive! For example, thank the Lord for filling you with the Holy Spirit. Only ask, trusting in the promises of God, or you won't receive anything from Him (James 2). Concerning Christian books, sorry to say, American Christians can be so lukewarm - even the best of them! Instead, I recommend books from our persecuted brethren, books like "The Heavenly Man", "Hiding in the Light," or 'Defying Jihad." These are such great, exciting books that will really bless you! All the best to you and yours! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

@dwm You fascinate me. How in the world would one want to study the Bible? The whole Bible is really odd. God tells Moses to go to pharaoh and tell him to release the Jews. At the same time god tells Moses that pharaoh is not going to release them because God will harden pharaoh’s hard. And then god will punish Egypt for not letting the Jews go. God did it 10 times to Egypt. The whole Bible is a really weird book. It blows my mind that people read, and they actually believe it is the word of god. If the Bible is truly the word of god then god is not eloquent at all and He speaks with a lot of confusion.

So luckily we had some weird/great/fun/interesting Uber drivers and I learned more about the US during these rides than in school..! :) Also I just wanted to say that I think it wasn't bad of you to preach in your videos cause this is how we could found out more about your way of thinking. It would just be bad if you wouldn't allow us to think in a different way, so trying to communicate more with people is something we could all benefit from☺️ I hope you're having an awesome start of 2019 and I hope you'll learn a lot about people and cultures 💕 Uff sorry this was written in jetlag-english, so I hope you'll understand what I mean😳🙉

i actually wished more people in church were like you. theres irony. i think the reason why so many are leaving church is because there are none in church like you. go figure. i have been a believer for 20 years, and some days, its just not been worth it, but then, im always reminded, what we see in church today, is not what God intended, nowhere close. if people were actually interested in the lives of others, like you, the entire church would actually become alive, because people would actually care. i live in omaha nebraska, a total dead zone. the only thing that keeps me here is my job. i have a work mom that i care for dearly, i know God used her as a mother figure for me to bond to. interesting isnt it? sometimes God uses the world to help us mature and grow since the church is too stuck, and religious to do so. if we had brothers, mothers, father, and sisters of the faith, people would actually believe that God is actually here, and real. rock on :)

You can do all those things, you can question all things and yet hold to the truth of God's word. God calls us to love all people, no exceptions. What many of us have experienced are churches who look with disdain on those who are different than us. Remember that is the teaching of man, not of God. So deconstruct from Church rules, but not from Biblical doctrine. Progressive movements in faith seems great on the surface, but they do nothing more than to ship wreck lives. It's okay to hold to the absolute truth of the Bible and be loving, kind and compassionate. Jesus did not waiver from His truth, yet He loved all, and the greatest display of love apart from His atonement is telling people the truth and expecting them to live in it. Don't lose true faith because of bad theology.

Yes it is. There is a landslide of this falling away happening right now. I am seeing it in many atheist or deconversion stories on the KZbin channels. The deception is very evident in believing "the lie". Jesus, Paul, and Peter all mention that this would happen before the Day of the Lord happens. Nevertheless, it is very sad to see it happening to so many. Blessings to you in Jesus.

An older video....lots and lots of waffle. Learning about the world as a person grows up seem to equal deconstructing in America. Care and compassion is more prevalent in the non Christian world? You can only have opinions outside of the Christian world? What, like cancel culture, no platforming, demonising people with different political opinions like we have seen the Democratic left do with aplomb since 2016? Still, a person needs to experience ‘the other side’. I did, had many doubts, walked away from church and felt better for it. Far less judgementalism etc. I realised that the outside world is just like the church world because it is filled human beings. I also learned that the outside world is far more intolerant, discriminatory and judgemental of Christians, particularly in academia and sciences where outing as a Christian can and has ended careers. I have now reconstructed, am far happier and more balanced and put my early Christian experiences down to being young and not knowing much but believing that I knew everything (like most young people). Sometimes you just have to fly the nest and make your own way in life. Then you can stop blaming everyone else in your family and/or church for how things turned out.
