You could buy some Halloween craft paper and put it at the back of the book case? Then it will allow you to see the more darker items you have and would look cool

Girlfriend don’t be ashamed of what you love! It took me 40 years to realize I don’t care what other people like. I used to decorate very much in the trend and the past couple years I stopped doing that. I always decorated my craft room with my favorites but that was kind of hidden. All horror, NBC and pirates. Then I said why do I do this to myself. My house is now filled with stuff I love. I have it very witchy cottage style and have tons of knick knacks and stuff. I love it and am continually adding to it! My characters and movie stuff stay in my craft room but the rest of the house is ultimately me! When it comes to Halloween I decorate the house completely up and just the same full of stuff! I just go a bit more gothic witchy hahaha! I need change so I don’t leave it up all year. After Halloween the house turns completely orange with fall decor. This is what makes me happy and I am so glad I finally gave into it all! I even have a whole room decorated in little mermaid! I am currently working on turning one of my bathrooms into a witchy under the sea witch vibe lol! You be you. That’s all that matters!

Bookshelf looks great! One idea to try is to lay some of the books flat at the end of the book rows to add dimension. You can even put some smaller items on top of the stacked books.

I have Halloween up 365 as well and my husband tolerates it lol. There are 5 of those wall hangings. Skull, bat, cat, pumpkin, and spider. I hung them diagonally going up the stairs in my house, turned out super cute! Also my sister had a frog in her house that came up through the toilet so maybe your unwanted house guest did the same! I think many of us get intimidated by all of those that have these fancy decorating videos where their houses start out pristinely clean, and no clutter whatsoever. I think you did a very good job of placing your things into the bookshelves. Looks nice! And you could place the reaper skeleton up on top but have the long flowing shroud hang down the side . And on other side you could put the winged demon, maybe on top.

First off, I love you and your channel and Tampa Jays channel! My husband and I watch you both. Second, I love your style! I love how you decorated the bookshelves. Never let anyone bring you down. It’s your home and whatever makes you happy is what you should do. I struggle with people saying things about how I decorate as well but we have things we love and that make us happy. We love watching you guys go to oddities expos. We always try to learn what’s happening in Florida and Georgia so we can go but we only learn that they’re going on after they happen. :/ we’re going to one in Atlanta this weekend though, so hopefully it’ll be good!
