I love your table scape its soo pretty and elegant looking!!! I also love to decorate for the 4th of july. My dad was in the army for a short while. I just lost him in January. He was 81. It's been very difficult to deal with losing a parent. I'm 54 years old and lived with my parents after a nasty divorce after 31 years of a abusive marriage. You give me so much inspiration! I also loved my job as a home maker and a mom to my son and daughter! It was a blessing to me! They are grown now and I am starting over with lots of wisdom and Godly people in my life. I also love the way that you stay busy doing something around the house. It's all about productivity. School, work, your home, spending time with family and friends, church is all about making it a life. Right now I feel like my life isn't as balanced as it used to be. Especially with church. Nothing is stopping me from going but I want my daughter there with me. I never want her to feel unloved or that she's being left behind. I can't imagine how she wants to be free each day. Family has hurt her and abandoned her but I never will nor will I ever forgive her persecutors. She's worked so damned hard and has given up the right for the wrong. I need that balance back soooo bad for her. I long for the days when I had company like that and just worked in my house like that and when my makeup and clothes game was on point! I want her right there with me though. She and I doing our thing. I look at how your channels are so together and it spills over into your real lives! Your channels are your real lives. I have ideas too that I want to implement but I want her mind sound so that she can get on board with me. She and I doing business and building for us! I need her healthy so we can do this!

Beautiful table scape. I have the whole set of those green dishes. They have to be at least 50 years old. I started buying those at the A&P grocery store before I got married and we just celebrated 48 years in April. I loved all your patriotic purchases. I’ve been trying not to spend money either, but if I see a bargain, like you did, I try and get them. I need to shop my Hobby Lobby soon. A homemaker’s job is never done. After I retired, people would ask me if I was bored? There is always something for me to do. I love being home after all these years. My job as a nurse required me to work long hours and be on call. Hi Deena - I am so thrilled about your new eating plan and that you were taking care of your health. I’m still praying for you to have the power of the Holy Spirit to keep you on track. I’m so thankful your brother is OK. Maybe it will be helpful that y’all are all doing this as a family. I really regret that I did not take care of my health for many years. Beautiful. With a college degree, I felt a homemaker was pleasing to the Lord. It was the best time of my life. I now watch my college degreed daughter in Interior Design, enjoy being a homemaker. It is a wonderful calling. Children want their Moms available and caring for them.

I agree Mrs. Deena. That's what homemaking is all about. It's about creating a comfortable space for you and yours! I'm not going to buy any fall stuff or any new stuff either. I'm going to finish off my little list of home improvement and then stop. Every thing else will carry over into the new year. I'm going to clean out and organize stuff then pick back up next year. Don't feel guilty about your money. That's what the sales are for. I can tell that you guys are doing okay and like you said it's not about the money. I also thank Mr. Ronnie for his service!: I didn't know that he was military. He seems like one of the most humble, kindest,laid back supportive husband that a woman can have. Yes, I love the ideas behind homemaking. Creating a warm and inviting space for our families is so essential. I don’t know that I will be purchasing much for the fall season either. Mrs. Dena ever since I was a little girl all I've ever wanted to be was a homemaker. I would have loved to just stay at home and be the perfect wife and mother. I would have loved to just stay in and cook, clean and decorate. I never wanted children but I knew that my husband would have. Real life happened though and I did have a daughter and I got to have a wonderful live-in boyfriend. I enjoyed our little family and I loved cooking, cleaning and decorating for us. I loved serving them too. I had to work as well........it took two incomes for us to make it but I don't regret anything! It was all worth the effort.

Hello sister, your table is beautiful. I love the diy and that technique of painting. I has done some plant pots and they turn beautiful. I have finish my Summer decor thru my home and this year I did lemons, vintage books, and bumble bees 🐝 🍋 🖤 ⚜🌻 with lots of greenery 🌿🍃🌱 and the french country style of decor that I love ⚜ 🖤 🌻!!! I definitely will stop at my Hobby Lobby and get that great sale ( I will be very grateful to have a little more patriotic decor. I have very little). I went to a Hobby Lobby but was only able to get 1 item for $1.29 but will love it next year (by the time I got to Hobby Lobby that was all that was left but am grateful for that new item). I’ve been drinking a blueberry, strawberry, and banana smoothie for 22 days straight. I have an auto immune disorder and the blueberries are suppose yo be on my diet daily. I do feel better. Also, avocados daily. I’ve recently focused on protein and not too many carbs. Would love to hear more ! Glad to hear.
