Even though it snowed here today...I hold the line on Thanksgiving! It is a beautiful season and just doesn't feel so commercialized. It's a time to reflect on being thankful, blessed and unhurried with family and friends. A sweet season! You could also use that garland for Christmas. It’s so pretty. The green leaves with the winter greens in it. Just take off that beautiful turkey and replace with something Christmas. Lovely!!

Hi Deena, Really enjoyed this vignette as I am not ready for Christmas yet. As you were taking apart the grapevine, I wanted to suggest soaking it to make it more pliable, but you got it to do what you wanted in the end. Love all the greenery, leaves, etc. and the touches of brass too. Of course, the turkey is the perfect size and color and looks great there. You inspire us in so many ways and I am grateful for you. Hi sweet Deena - wow, this was gorgeous. I would’ve never thought to dismantle that vine wreath like you did. Where do you get your ideas, have you been artistic all your life? I do not have a good vision for things but I’m pretty good at copying what somebody else is done that I like. You must have a vision in your head to start with, right? I’m so glad you’re not skipping Thanksgiving and going right into Christmas. Last year is the first year I’ve started decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving but I did like it and I will do it again this year. It just makes it so much easier to take your time and enjoy that without having to rush and do everything else. This morning I went to my internal medicine doctor. He was thrilled with my diabetes numbers and my 50 pound weight loss. There has been some concern about my kidneys because of years of diabetes damage. He made a few adjustments on one of my medicines and I need to just be sure and drink tons of water which I have been doing as part of my weight loss program. I went to my neurologist last week and got a good report from him as well and he reduced my steroids a little. But the best part is I’m just feeling so good and able to do all the things I want to do for others now. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the sweet psalm at the end. Love in Christ

I love it all!!!! I love the ideas of uplighting the cake stand & adding the velvet ribbon draping between the buffet knobs. I may have missed it but would to know the source of the fall/pinecone leaf garlands too. I just knew the buffet would be a grand decor piece through the seasons💕

Your new/old buffet is a gorgeous addition to your room! I can’t remember if your wall has always been this color or if the new addition drew my attention to it. I love the dark color of the walls. Hi Deena, your BUFFET is smiling. Very interesting decorating with the the vine up in the air from the top of the buffet I like it! Ok never seen this done before. Also does the top drawer open up? If so I want that for me, I could store my table runners in it so I don't have to hang them & keeps the crease off of them. You are so creative like our savior Jesus.
