Oh I love that you used your pretty new doily in the entryway. Back in the day there wasn't a furniture surface that didn't have a doily on it. The table you moved to the entryway fits much better and is just beautiful. The whole area is just inviting and peaceful.

I too sometimes place it in larger vases, or like for Halloween I placed it in the ghost bucket from DG that went “viral” along with some fall stems from target as well. I loved it!! I recently bit the bullet as well.. i nearly purchased that same tree by your stairs! I liked that one too, I ended up buying the 9ft faux olive tree that also has the sporadic branches from Pottery Barn, and justify it by saying to myself it’s just a little bit more😉 Thank you Dana👍🏼♥️

Dana, with what you have been going through, you are far from being called lazy. You are adjusting. You are being present for your Mom who has just been dealt with a HUGE loss. You ALL have a new adjustment phase to try and cope with your Step Dad's death. You have your loss to grieve as well as your Mom's life changes moving forward. Don't ever cut yourself short for being there for your family. Your house will wait, we will wait. You just continue what you need to do physically, mentally and emotionally for yourself and your Mom. Continued Prayers and Healing Thoughts of Comfort to navigate your family through these unchartered times. We ALL grieve at different paces. My Dad died unexpectedly on the 23rd of January 14 years ago. And I to this day, block out that day. Not purposely. His loss to myself and my Mom and siblings was so immense. That it feels like it was yesterday it happened😥 God Bless 🙏
