I just found you by watching one of your shorts, this is my first video. I love your work! I just had to pause the video to say I appreciate your thoughts about giving your twins the space to create their individuality. I’m a twin and though me and are sister are similar, we’re different in many ways. I’ve always wished growing up that we had the choice to not dress alike all the time, or how we wanted our side of the room, etc. That didn’t happen until about 14 lol. I know your twins appreciate you for giving them room to grow!

I’m not a twin mom but I am sort of close… lol they were born in Valentine Day exactly one year apart and were 13 mins in delivery time… lol used to allow them to pick their cakes because I done most of their early parties together. Once they became older and wanted separate parties I let them pick their theme and went from there! Love your channel, keep the videos coming, you inspire me to decorate cakes.❤❤❤❤

All the cakes turned out beautifully! I love the table runner cakes! It's such a smart way to jazz up sheet cake and/or do smaller cake options. Not a mom but I'm a twin (identical) & we had the option to do things a like or different for the most part. We often liked the same things but different colors. For birthday's we had one cake and it was generally a special ordered red velvet w/ermine frosting but as we got older flavors changed. Now (at 41) we plan our cake and/or other desserts and try to make them ourselves.

When do you use cake mixes and when do you bake from scratch? You use my favorite Duncan Hines for a moist cake!!!

I used to do half doctored and half scratch cakes but now I just use my hybrid recipes because I get so much positive feedback on them!

I love all of your cakes! So glad I found your channel. When it comes to fresh flowers just be careful what you get. Many farmers spray their flowers with a ton of pesticides. Organic is best but I know that's not always available.

I'm a mom of twins. They just turned 15 August 10th. I make them their own cake for their birthday when they ask for different flavors. This year my son baby A asked for a sweet potato cheesecake. My daughter baby B asked for a chocolate heart shaped cake. Her theme was garden them with fondant butterflies. There have been tie where they asked for the same flavor for theor cake so I would only make one cake

Heyyyy!! Twin mom here of 6 year old boys (my Lord)! I actually allow them to pick out their own everything with the exception of clothes….sometimes. My twins are sooooo very different (fraternal) and it shows. They are their own person. Very different personalities. Fellow baker as well! Do you let your cakes defrost? Or do you decorate when it’s still frozen?

Hi! I typically stack, fill and ice frozen. The cake defrosts a little as it sets up in the refrigerator when I decorate it.

I am 4 years older than my sister and my Mom would have us dressed alike. Sometimes the same exact outfit or the same outfit in a different color and I absolutely hated it. Now that I am a twin mom I don’t do that. They are not dressed the same, they both pretty much like the same things. So I have to buy two of everything which is fine but I encourage them to have their own personal space, to have their own individuality.

I love that. And yes to the two of everything 😂 then they can choose if they want to wear it at the same time or not. I was adamant that I wasn’t going to dress them the same before they were born, but when they came my mind changed 😂
