Decorate for a unique luxury looking Christmas on a budget with thrift store finds from Goodwill. Today my Mom and I decorate their home with beautiful bold green ornaments and vintage decorations to create a unique look to compliment her favorite "jungle" themed home. We found beautiful large mercury glass trees at Goodwill last time we shopped and had fun using them on her TV console to create a Forest effect. The Winter screen saver was found for free, here on KZbin.

Me too. I wish I had that kind of a relationship with my daughter. She is very well off and I live on disability. So with a heavy heart....I'm not worthy and I'm an embarrassment to her and she let's me know that. So cherish what you have Selena. I would literally give my life for one day with my daughter 😢

I love listening to the laughter! I haven’t had a tree 🌲 since 2001 when my mom passed. Watching this brought back sooo many memories of my children’s handmade ornaments & their pictures in ornaments! So happy you have your mom to make memories with! Love watching you both!!!

What a beautiful privilege you are honored with to decorate with your Mama. Mine has been gone almost 34 years and I miss that lady every single day. She was the best Mama to all eight of her Children. She and my Dad made Christmas special for us. They also made Christmas happen for other children in our family. We didn’t know these things until Dad’s passing the day after Christmas six years ago. His brothers children were telling us the stories of how they knew there would always be Christmas for them, that my parents delivered food, clothing and toys every Christmas Eve. Your tree was beautiful.

Aww guys it looks so festive and pretty! The bluish ornaments really pulled the tree together. I used to wrap my tree up with a couple of sheets, pin the sheets on snug, and carried it up to my attic...Just had to fluff it up some, and maybe add a few new ones from the kids. Saved time. Had the children, so time savers were helpful.

Rugs on top of rugs are a real trip and fall risk for Seniors. Broken hips. Best to remove the palm fonds rug from on top of the wall to wall carpet. Does not lay flat. Beautiful decorations. Wish my Mom was still here....❤❤❤

I loved this video. You two reminded me of my mom and me. We thrifted together and made beautiful crafts to give away at Christmas. My mom was a seamstress and I was very creative which was a wonderful combination. I miss her so much, she passed on to heaven over ten years ago. Never take you mom for granted you have no idea how much you are going to miss her when she passes.

That was fun. In fact, my family is in the other room putting their tree up and I'm in my room watching you, so funny. I was hoping to see the night version of your efforts at the end. My mom got to where she just put a plastic bag over the tree, decorations and all, then stored it till next year. After raising a family of 10, I guess she got a little burned out. I understand now that I'm in my 70's with a large family of my own. Love all of your videos. I just don't want them to end.

First I enjoy watching you and your mom‘s relationship. I miss my mom she’s been gone 30 years I love the good Earth sweet and spicy tea back in the early 90s. There was a Restaurant the good Earth. There’s only one left now in Minnesota. it was before it’s time the whole green pancakes with turkey sausage the spinach omelettes with sour cream. They had wonderful salads. Sure miss it.
