I rinse all my plates before putting them in the dishwasher. Theres just something about left over sauce or seasoning on the plate going into the dishwasher to CLEAN my dishes that doesnt make sense. They go in rinsed off and the dishwasher gets the germs off :)

One thing I love to make is a banana and chocolate chip traybake, it's literally just a simple vanilla traybake recipe but add in mashed up banana and loads of chocolate chips. It's so good, you have to try it! 💕

My favorite easy dinner is pasta, chicken cut in bite size pieces seasoned with garlic, butter salt and pepper, then when pasta and chicken done I toss it together with a handful of spinach, a few cherry tomatoes and feta cheese.

Love the recipe series idea. I have a dynamite recipe for chocolate chip cookies made with honey 🍪 You will need: 1¼ cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon of baking soda 1 stick of salted butter, softened ¼ cup of granulated sugar ½ cup of honey 6 ounces of chocolate chips (about 1 cup) Steps: Preheat the oven to 300ºF In a small bowl combine flour and baking soda. Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside. In a medium bowl, blend butter, sugar, and honey with an electric mixer at medium speed. Beat until light and soft, then scrape sides of the bowl. Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips. Blend at low speed until combined. Do not overmix Drop dough by rounded teaspoons on to a parchment-lined cookie sheet 1½ inches apart Bake 15-17 minutes until light golden brown

I found a recipe for Cajun Chicken pasta that is so good. It has a ton of veggies in the pasta like bell peppers and tomatoes and never disappoints me. It also really doesn’t take too long to make which is fantastic

omg pls for food my favorite meal is : lemon pepper air fried chicken w/ rice and garlic naan + veggie (whatever I have on hand) 1 chicken breast (i prefer boneless) - cover it in melted butter or olive oil, up to you I prefer a light brush of butter lemon pepper garlic salt more pepper if desired 375 degrees for 18-20 mins

So I have 2 different recipes for salmon the first recipe is with teriyaki sauce Dijon mustard combine those like a teaspoon of Dijon mustard and maybe 2 tablespoons of this teriyaki sauce and marinate your salmon in it. Then on a skillet pour some teriyaki sauce and some brown sugar and let that simmer until your teriyaki sauce gets to a like a thick consistency like almost like a syrupy consistency and then add your salmon and cook it and then put your teriyaki sauce that you just cooked on the skillet onto your salmon. And it’s bomb! For My second recipe is to use an orange, lemon, lemon pepper seasoning, and a little bit of garlic powder. On a baking sheet add some foil make sure there is enough to cover the whole piece of salmon. place your salmon and squeeze all the orange juice out of it and squeeze half lemon onto the salmon. Then you can season it with your garlic powder and lemon pepper seasoning. And cover the salmon at bake it in the oven until your salmon is fully cooked. Hope you enjoy them!

Ever had cornflake chicken? Cut up a chicken breast in strips, dip in honey (or egg but I prefer honey), then dip in crushed cornflakes and bake. We usually eat it with sweet potato fries.

Of course you should rinse your dishes. Unless you have an industrial strength dishwasher, it won’t get things completely clean if you don’t. What I do is rinse everything when I put it in the sink even if I end up washing them by hand. It’s just less scrubbing and rewashing that way.

I did learn that if you just toss the dishwasher pod into the dishwasher before starting it instead of putting it in that little compartment, it cleans your dishes a lot better. I was told that that compartment was meant for the liquid cleaners 🤷‍♀️

If you are having weak water flow through your whole apartment ask your neighbors if they have the same issue. If they aren't, it might me an air bubble problem. It happened to me. Turn on all the water in every faucet and shower head let the water run for 5 mins. If you get air burst from one of the faucets and water again it might fix it it worked for me.

I have passionate opinions on dishwashing/washers dude. I care TOO much. Everyone's dishwasher is different, some dont need prewashing at all and some need a little and some need A LOT, to the point of it jsut being a glorified dish dryer haha. But don't use dishsoap to clean them before putting them in the dishwasher (if you use pods or any soap in your dishwasher). I was told when I moved out a month ago that prewashing with dishsoap could potentially harm your dishwasher, or it might not but I just don't risk it unless there is something that won't get clean without dishsoap and scrubbing. My dishwasher is pretty good, but I rinse the food and gunk off in the sink with the garbage disposal so it doesn't swim around in the dishwasher. I do also scrub the pans if stuff is cooked on, but I don't use soap. If I did, I'd just stick it in for a dry only cycle or towel dry them haha. My husband used to completely hand wash before sticking dishes in the washer because his dishwasher sucked, but at that point I just hand dried them at his old place when I cleaned something too. We didn't have a dishwasher for a period growing up and it the last house I lived in so I was used to it and knew you don't need a dishwasher to get dishes clean, even though some people use the argument that it sanitizes them. Sorry, my dishes aren't sanitized but that's never been a problem lol. It also saves water to not put it in the dishwasher if you know it doesn't actually clean anything better than handwashing.

Yes, you are supposed to scrub your plates and such before putting it in the dishwasher. If you put a plate full of tomato sauce for example, it will rarely be 100% clean when you just put it in without scrubbing it. I usually scrub it until most of the dirt is away just so I'm sure it is clean once the dish washer is done

PLEASE rinse/wash your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher! I have the same exact dishwasher as you. It doesn’t clean it very well. When I moved into my apartment, someone before me never rinsed off their food from their dishes. I found pieces and chunks of moldy steak in there!! 🤮🤢 it was stuck between the door of the dishwasher and the dishwasher itself. Water sprays and fills up the dishwasher and spreads that nasty moldy steak everywhere. So yes please clean your plates! 😂
