It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! I always tied my Christmas up to a wall light after the first time my cat knocked the tree down. Then he sat up in the tree til I took it down. Cats are wonderful, amazing creatures. Oh also very smart! Merry Christmas to you and yours! So glad the dogs are home! Thanks for the fun of watching you guys!!!

We have a very old house and our floors slant away so we've always tied the tree down to a wall. Just walking past it would send it toppling. Thank heavens our cat didn't seem interested last year, hopefully, it won't be again this year.

In Finland we bring the christmas tree in just two or three days before. The smell is so perfect when it's fresh ! cats and tree are epic Christmas fun ! Cats hate the smell of orange so you could try to put orange peel in it maybe they stay away .And hey I could never imagine Christmas without George Michael ( last Christmas that is ). Seeing your lights reminded me of the years I lived in Germany. Lights were so expensive and they never seemed to go on sale after Christmas, so if you wanted them, you just had to bite the bullet. Your lights are lovely.

I had a pair of dogs, one also a tripod, who would take off occasionally for several hours. When they were found and back home, I made sure to shower them with hugs and treats. When they ran off again, it was only for a short while and they knew they would be greeted with hugs and treats. It's what they do. Air tags are wonderful!

I love that your content is so good. Kudos for the awesome editing. So many chateaux you tubers rely on super fancy constructed intros and epic drone shots as massive filler. Then its 20 minutes of someone painting gold detail and 20 minutes of them talking like wooden statues. So what I'm really saying is I think you guys do an outstanding job on content , editing, and just everything. Please don't change. Those kitties! 😅😅😅😅😅 We use very very heavy duty fishing line and wire to both sides of the corner moldings to keep the tree kitty proof. It works! And you can’t see the line unless you really look 😅😅😅😅😅😅 Pickle is just a mess, I love it! Everything is just cozy and beautiful! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

So lovely and cozy! Atmosphere is perfect. Yes, it is always work, to get those lights up but worth it in the end. No sense over decorating because you only need to take it all back down sooner than you think! It is work just taking it all down again! Oh, how it brings back memories. We had a short hair torte named Rena that loved to lay right inside our Christmas village. It was hysterical. I think it was the fake snow covering she liked. Loved those icicle ones! At night they'd have been gorgeous. Had a particular perpetrator as well. Lots of, TIMBER! Thankfully, we'd just stand it back up.

The tree is lovely. We always had cats, the tree was anchored with heavy duty string to something so the cats couldn't topple it! Special breakable ornaments were hung higher so they couldn't bat them off to the floor! We loved our cats and a nice tree. Happy Holidays!
