I am going to use your lining paper videos as the basis to allow me to attempt to paper the lobby of my house. It's good to have a start to completion series and hopefully it allows to me to make a good job with it. Going to watch your series from start to finish before any work is undertaken. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video series. I’m also using wall rock fibre smooth - do I need to size the wall before applying? The wall has matt emulsion paint on. Thanks!

No, no sizing neseserry, I have been recently informed that the red top albony ready mixed paste is now the go to product for hanging the wallrock fiber liner... The red top paste is the extra hold paste. Just follow the videos and you won't go wrong. Good luck and just ask if you need any more help.

Painting With Pride thanks for such a quick reply! I bought the Wallrock power adhesive. Is this what you mean?

I have just read up on the product and it is from wallrock and it says it's power adhesive so I would imagine it will be fine. Good luck and let me know how you get on.

Hiya mate.If you wanted to do this on a ceiling without taking the previous embossed paper off, could it work or would it fail?

If it is 100% paper and not artex then yes the wet filler and weight of it in my eyes will make the paper come off, you could... Over board it with plaster board and skim in the joints or its a case of stripping it all off sugar soaping all the old paste off then prep and paint the ceiling . Hope this helps

Not needed with the paper I was using as it's a past the wall and put the paper straight on
