I just started deer hunting and didn't have any luck in bow season, but every time I go deer hunting on the conservations clubs property there are about 25 deer on another guys property he has a good food plot full of soybeans but now they cut all of them and the deer are still coming to that property. I keep calling I put doe estrus I spray my back back, clothes, gun or bow, and it never works there are some really big bucks, and its driving me crazy, the land owner is a jerk so he will never let anyone deer hunt on his property. I kind of just want a doe now. Since the deer are about 400 yards away from the conservations clubs property would a buck come for the decoy all the way from 400 yards. I've spent so much money on this haven't got anything. I hope the decoy works, also which decoy do you recommend me using, a doe or a buck?. Thank You:)

Question. You want your decoy upwind of yourself, but the question I have is does it matter which direction you face that decoy?

Absolutely, face your buck decoys your direction so other bucks approach head on. Face your doe decoys away as bucks will most of the time circle around to a does tail end to scent check.
