if there is suit of possession and damages against anyone and court issues decree to give the possession but the damages are not solved.And court decides for further adjudication to decide how much compensation the defendant will pay to the plaintiff for the damages, its called preliminary decree. i think this will help :p

I have a doubt... As you said decree judgement ke baad di jati hai... It is the final decision which conclusively determine the rights... Fine I understood but under section 2(9) here judgement is defined as statement given by the judge on the ground of decree or order... It seems contradictory... Agar judgement aage diya jata hai and decree baad main... Then howcome judgement are the statements made on the ground of decree... I am confused... Can you make it clear please..

Non-payment of court fee is a decree but confusion is that ki isme jab pehle hi suit dismiss ho gaya tau parties ki rights tau decide nahi Hui , fir kaise decree, pls explain? Qki party ka right decide hona tau jaruri h as stated by you, confusion?
