I am so blessed to hear of this salt conversation that is going on! Because in so many seasoning herbs, the first ingredient that has mentioned is salt which means that it is totally sold forward! And I now live in Florida, but I grew up in New England and the amount of salt people use down here as of the chain ridiculous! I just can’t believe in today’s world that restaurants and just people in general would not be more self-conscious of their salt intake. I just had family come down here from New England to spend five months just exploring, and they are totally grossed out by the amount of grease and salt that they have experienced in the past three weeks ! So thank you, thank you thank you!

So we found a spot two blocks from his place and when we walked in he ordered the Jerk for us and ordered ox tails for him because he was so used to Mexican made ox tails and he was curious and man let me tell you. Y’all truly are helping me be excited for food again- it’s hard up here in the NorthWest and I been wanting to learn more recipes. I really be walking through the grocery store watching the videos getting my ideas. I love y’all!

Really enjoyed this one, Jamaican cuisine is the break out black cuisine we have out there as black folks. We appreciate them so much. Am from Africa but I can say nothing is better than Jamaican oxtail and Currie goat

Lemme tell you, as an aficionado of great oxtails I followed this method to the letter last year (with the exception of some of the powdered seasonings - all high in sodium, some redundant; Flavo-Rice being the best) and gave out batches to friends and family for free since I had about 20+ pounds in the freezer...and I've been dodging all of their efforts to make me make them more...they've even offered to buy them for me to personally prepare and cook for them. I've sent them both a link to this video since then. This method is so simple and such a great improvement over my previous browning and slow cooker method. Only thing I'd say is you don't need ALL of those sodium-based powders...Flavor Rice is great, even the Maggi liquid is salt-based. I'd skip the Lawry's (I did). You definitely don't need a packet of Oxtail seasoning with all the other spices. The first ingredient in all of them is salt; pick one or two which you find great and go with those. You don't need five or six salt-based seasonings to execute this. You WILL however require ketchup. I like a ketchup with no corn syrup for this recipe, save those other ones for your burgers, hot dogs, and fries.

The first time I had Oxtails my aunt fixed them with fresh green beans and white potatoes and onion. It was really good. And now I see another way to do Oxtails. I watch you because you are very very good at putting the food together and clean. Thank you for great dishes.👍🏿

This video was amazing on so many levels. First, I trust the recipe and his direction because he said God guides him 🙏. That dish is authentic and I will be making this for my family. Love the bonding while cooking between father and daughter, and the display of love. A joy to watch. Thank you and God bless.

People always be hatin. Anyone ever thought that maybe he doesn't like to talk while he cooks? Maybe she is the driving force to bring his personality out. Don't get me wrong she talks a lot, but I think they are a good team, and there wouldn't be any commentary if she wasn't there recording him. He loves his daughter, and she loves him.
@frankielogan18634 жыл бұрын
Well she’s talking a lot because she’s recording a video. If people have a problem then they can mute it and watch him cook. But then they won’t know any details she saying. This looks so good

Made this tonight, came out great.. I only added a whole scotch bonnet and one small diced potato and like 7 baby carrots sliced small.. tomorrow I will take all the left over gravy and make it with a cubed chuck roast in a slow cooker all day. Served with rice and peas..
