Why can't they make double-stacked sleeper coaches then ? I know about double-decker sitting coaches. Of course, tunnel heights and electric lines will have to be raised but it can be done first on only heavy-traffic routes connecting metros.

It will be costlier to build and manage a double stack passenger trains. With Goods, its just containers stacked. Passenger coaches are not just containers.. You have to keep a lot many things in consideration. Although cant rule out the possibility that double stacked passenger trains wont be built in future.
