Hey, stitch dad. I was thinking how unfortunate it is that some of these wonderful boxes and retreats aren't available here I the u.k., but then my husband reminded me that if we were in the u.s., we would probably be living in tents under a bridge, 🤭 but we'd have lots of cross stitch though eh ? Thank heavens for pdf. ( that will probably be on my tombstone, 💀). Anyway, take it easy, you seem a bit tired, enjoy stitch north and remember we love you and we are proud of you. 💙🤍💖

I love stitching your Let's Make a Statement designs but I'm glad that you're choosing to put yourself first when it comes to what you choose to design... I used Dinky Dyes Opal as the variegated floss (pink and blue shades similar to DMC 963 and 3761). Hope you're having a blast at StitchNorth!

I definitely think you should leave the cursed anchor sal behind for week 2 stitch North folks - it might even be complete at the end of two stitch North weekends! If you need someone to volunteer to shepherd it forward after, I can do that whether it’s sending it on to its next victim or back to you. Otherwise, another great flosstube visit. I love how your Heart Sampler is coming along and now I want to pull mine out 😅

Black anchor on the spool didn’t bug me to stitch with, but I dislike the spool…plastic waste & how do you store leftovers on it. I also have skeins of black anchor (bought before spools were in big box stores) and I’m not having any issues. I’ve yet to do a side by side of both alongside dmc though. If I do a side by side & decide I prefer anchor, I’ll definitely have to find skeins in bulk as just the plastic spool itself irritates me.
