As always, loved spending time with you and talking Stitchy stuff as well as the educational segment. ❤

Glad your surgery went well, and hope that things balance out hormonally as the healing continues. Sending good thoughts that the type of top surgery approved will be the one you prefer. Looking forward to the February Stitch 4 Pride release, and ready to select my floss...maybe DMC 4045 or 125! Love your interpretation of Keith's work. Thanks for a great video, Stitch Father, and I'm proud of you, too.

Holy cow, I had no idea uterine ablation was a thing, that’s going on my list of transition goals. Hysterectomy scary lol. 🙃 I am also in love with those bears in the birch trees! The green suits the pattern so nicely. 💚💚

So much beautiful stitching, I love it! I cannot wait for all of the #Stitch4Pride2024 prompts. Commemorating artists is such a good idea. Can't wait to start polar bear! Super cute pattern. Big yay to snow days. Nature's way to tell us all to slow down.

Experimenting with dyeing is fun until you want to recreate it and can’t recreate it. Yours turned out great! Thank you for the educational info as well! Always enjoy your insights

It's a great day when you get a Dee video 😊 I'm glad that your surgery went well. Hopefully your body gets on board with not having the PMS symptoms. My mother had that surgery years ago for health reasons. I wish more doctors talked about it. That polar bear is so fun. Feel like they're judging someone off to the side. The fact that you can stitch over 1 on 40ct is mind boggling. I would be struggling even with a magnifier. That pattern is going to be amazing when finished though. Keeping my fingers crossed that you can get the next surgery you want! Have a wonderful weekend! P.S. I was quite enjoying your tousled devil-may-care hair ❤

Your fabric dying looks so great! The thrift store fabric that you dyed for Nature’s Peace looks like it might be monks cloth. I’ve used monks cloth for punch needle. Can’t wait for the next Stitch for Pride drop. Take care of yourself!

Wow Dee thanks for your honesty regarding gender affirming care, and what that looks like for you. I have to admit I had not considered the dysphoric complications of a period, and the accompanying mood swings and symptoms so thank you for explaining this. I am so in awe of your strength in being so open and vulnerable - you really are a (earmuffs) fucking awesome human being. - much love, Nic x PS haven’t dreamt about you again, shame, we had a good time!

Hellooo there! So happy to see you back ❤ I have that closely kept pattern in my start soon pile. I should just start it. That huge pattern, oh boy! I would’ve given up on it by now. More power to you 😅 Your hair has a mind of its own 😄 I love that you are enjoying Deefiant’s palette ❤ “Identity is weird and wonderful” yeah it is! I can’t wait for February’s stitch 4 pride drop. This was a genius idea. I love that long dog sampler but gosh it’s dirty you can actually see the color difference 😂 Those over dyed thrift store fabric pieces look amazing. I learned to work with bleach to paint when studied architecture ages ago. It’s fun to work with. I’m glad you are on you are taking steps to feel better in your body. Sending you love 💗

okay stream of thoughts that occurred through out the video- by you mentioning your hair, I had to look up from my stitching say "who caressss" stitch for pride- Im sorry that you are getting those question and that is a great response in dealing with it. Snow- COME ON- we got to -40 and school was not cancellleeedddd ( I know that vancouver does not put $ into snow removal and just teasing here) menstrual talk- Damn right! totally! you do what you need to do! get that TOP! yas and you did give education talk today.

I'm absolutely loving the Pride SAL! I'm almost done stitching mine (goal is to finish by tomorrow). I really like your big piece you think you might scrap. If you do you can make a bell pull out of the side motifs and a hat band or belt out of the top row (personally I think a hat band would be fun because their crowns!)

I wish we had gotten a "-50c is bullshit" day when we went through the polar vortex. Saskatchewan is just goofy that way, we don't do "snow day" or shut down for any sort of weather... we complain about it, but we just keep going, but still -50c should shut stuff down... I need learn dyeing, but i also need to clean my kitchen first LOL... cleaning is not my jam... I love the cuteness of the FineFrog Stitching... I have a few of her designs in the queue (too bad the queue is currently over 100)...

That veerlandan (sp?) choose your own motif BAP sampler sounds like my literal ADD nightmare. I hate making decisions! But it sure is purdy. I am so excited for February's Stitch4pride release...I picked the floss and everything 😍 Congratulations on your surgery, I'm glad it went well. Sounds awful but also great at the same time. I think doing a June release would absolutely be valid to raise funds for your gender affirming care. There are a lot of people wanting to jump into this SAL and we could bring the hype!

Congratulations on the ablation! I wanted one due to extremely heavy painful bleeding. But due to various reasons I've had to compromise at least for now with the arm implant birth control. Been having random pms symptoms all month and now I've been spotting for like 8 days and it's barely been a month 😭 takes 3-6 months to shake out how it's going to affect me so we will see 🙄
