Dee Snider is a very intelligent, well spoken, classy guy. He brings up a good point that you never talk politics, if you want to keep friends. And that is the problem with america today. Not only does everyone want to talk politics, but if your opinion on something is different than theirs, you are vilified. It Doesn't matter which side you are on. Both sides do it. It's anecdote. It was basically the same situation. Had american back then also gone with the bandwagon to banned all refugee from Jewish heritage like what Trump would want to attempt then, a lot of lives that could be improved by living in the States would not happen. Back then the Jew was not exactly popular. I heaed from other channel that old Roman catholic dogma, prejudiced the Jews because they let Jesus be persecuted and I think that is the reasonable stance that most other church follow if that were true. Basically helping Jew at the time had almost the same nuance with helping Muslims who were persecuted in their countries.
