A popular theory about MoM's name is that he actually did reveal it in that cutscene with Young Xehanort. The flash of light which seemed to be censoring the name wasn't actually censoring anything at all, but instead that flash of light itself was the name (which kind of goes off the other theory that MoM belongs to a race of creatures of pure light, opposite to the Darknesses shown in UX). It makes even more sense when you consider the line MoM gives right before... "the truth is what you see with your eyes, not what you hear".

I love that this game made so many revelations. We now know that Sora can use the keyblade wielder method of time travel to save his friends. We know that Luxord has a much bigger to play, which explains why he’s left out so much including Days where he’s playable (Demyx has that too but he constantly ditched Roxas so it’s different.) We also learn Naminé asked Terra’s will come in to save the group. Granted the Lingering Will lives in the Graveyard but Naminé contacting him helps with how he wasn’t there the first time.

What do you mean? Vanitas was absorbed back into Ventus’ heart at the end of Ventus’ BBS story. This was confirmation that he turned back into Darkness, rather than maintaining his identity.

@@misterfevillord1588 Sora helped Ventus in the beginning of the game when Vanitas was torn away, because it was too big a chunk, but the two of them were separate, full hearts of pure light and darkness by the endgame. They had merged back together into one body, but Ventus was holding back from fading into Vanitas’ heart, as shown by the double Station of Awakening during their fight. Then he and Aqua shattered the X Blade, which was literally made of their merged hearts. At that point Vanitas turned into sparkles that faded directly into the Station of Awakening, which then cleared to show only Ventus, showing that they had fully merged with Ventus in control. At which point Ven’s Keyblade shattered, and his severely damaged heart left his body. But it was damaged by the X-Blade shattering inside and outside at the same time. Vanitas’ defeat just meant Ven beat him in the battle for control of his heart.

He said his name is _______ notice the light behind him gets brighter. Maybe his name is light. But one thing I also notice is that he walks with his hands behind his back. Reminds you of anyone? Yes reminds me of Old Xenohart maybe the master of masters is the younger Xenohart from the future. He went into the past to guide himself to the darkness meaning that there are now two Xenoharts. Let's exclude the nobody and heartless forms of the OLD Xenohart. Let's just focus on young Xenohart, old Xenohart (original) and the Master of masters. After old Xenohart failing repeatedly to use the darkness to start the Xblade/keyblade/ ki war maybe he decided if I can't obtain it with darkness then maybe his younger self from the past will have an obsession with the keyblade war and kingdom hearts but instead of using darkness like his old self, his younger past self (which is technically a time traveler and is now with the organization) will be obsessed with the light and fighting darkness with it. Which in result still can start a keyblade war. Now with that being said let's focus on young Xenohart which is technically from the past but is now in the future due to Old Xenohart. Maybe in the future the young Xenohart will grow to be the master or masters. Having a brief discussion with his younger self to make sure he is still on track and not falling to the darkness like his original Old self the one from the current timeline. In result the young Xenohart from his future came back to the past to talk to his younger self whist the old Xenohart (original) is having a meeting with the remaining 13. Young Xenohart is talking to MoM his version of future self. Just a theory. SN: I was thinking Eraquis at one point I mean he is technically a forgotten master of the light and we don't know what truly happened after his fight with Terra and knowing how the role of hearts play in this story I wouldn't be surprised if his heart slipped into someone else's heart or body.

We saw that exact same light affect when Kairi reminded Axel of Xion, it seems to represent someone remembering something that should be erased from their memories. Namine even said back in COM that nothing can be erased from the heart, only unlinked. So like Axel with Xion, Young Xehanort seems to know the MoM's name but because the memory is unlinked, or "erased" like what was claimed to happen to any knowledge of the future, if is hidden. Him never knowing who the MoM is may be because he never technically heard the name as it was blocked out by his heart.

whe. you go through the game in these videos you start to realize the strongest heartless have xblade symbols meaning they are past weilders who fell to darkness or chose darkness. that's when you know this is above level foreshadowing. because we haven't met all those former weilders but we have met their heartless. also who's to say their nobodies aren't hiding out somewhere afterall xenmas didn't find all those nobodies they came to him.
