It only takes one poor evil person to think they stand to gain something for things to go left. I am African and have been to Jamaica once , but a lot of us do not know Jamaica has one of the highest homicide rates even though this is generally restricted to locals.

All Jamaicans who have left the Island it’s because they wanted a better opportunity for themselves and their children which Jamaica didn’t offer them. The government (has no programs in place to assist the people) and oftentimes people in their own communities made it almost impossible to prosper because of thievery. Example, my niece farms cabbage and a few months ago men went to her farm and stole her whole crop (loosing about $250k in revenue alone) - they found out the persons who did it but due to the sheer evil nature of such people she chose not to do anything but cry and leave them to the wrath of God!!!!
