Agreed! I have learned about crosses on donkeys' backs, lots of things about goats & pigs, and a male ostrich is black while females are brown. Also learned to laugh til I cry from Lester & crew, human & otherwise. Guess I'm jealous in Chicagoland of that accent ya'll have. Lester, be glad they are cold sweats. If you get nervous/ anxious before going places, it’s called anticipation anxiety. Thinking too much beforehand about what you have to do/get or situations you may encounter can create a really intense anxiety or fear that can prevent you from even doing it. You’re right, breathe through those feelings and go! You usually feel better once you get to your destination. For social events, you are usually glad you went afterwards. Once you get there, you realize it’s not as scary as what your mind built it up to be.

I was very surprised that your supplies didn’t cost you more. I was expecting it to be over $1000.00. Up here in eastern Canada 🇨🇦 it would have. Love watching all the animals especially Carl. I would never want to have an ostrich myself as I would be too afraid of him. But Carl’s the greatest. Love his dancing and teaching Jake lessons. Carl is hilarious. I watched Jake trying to pet Billie the bull. It looked as if his horn was loose. I hope it doesn’t bother him. Poor Tex is a handsome fellow. What big holes he digs. Lol. hi I know what you mean. We have a petting zoo in the Netherlands. And it's all volunteer work. The money that comes in, it all comes from donations. So that we can feed the animals and maintain all the pens and grounds. And of course pay the bills. Every month the question is whether we will get enough money to pay for all that. Sometimes we pay out of our own pocket But we love to do it for the animals and the kids and adults who come to watch the animals. To learn about the animals and to interact with the animals. Loved this video. I’m a RN who works in a hospital. It was several months into the pandemic before I felt comfortable going out in public. Which sounds crazy knowing where I work. But I put my faith in a higher power and started going back out. Anxiety affects all of us on some level. And May I say Carl is looking so handsome. That’s the perfect theme song for him 😂😂

Oh lawd lawd I know just how you feel when you get that ticket when you check out, we had 2 ton of feed delivered and put in the silo last week for our fall cattle feed after we emptied out our summer season feed. Sheesh 😬😵🤑😵 and we have already down all the Hay Fields in rye grass seed for the spring cutting 😬😬 and nope it ain't cheap by no means nope nope not at all but you do what you gotta do for the animals if you want them to be healthy and happy 😊🤗😁 We have a horrible time with those darn sticker weeds in our lawn and fields. Shoot you can spread them things from one place to another by them getting in the lawn mower tires and then they will crop up in another place that has never had them before. They are vicious things from hell and hard to get rid of. I wish I knew the name of the fertilizer you were getting to get rid of them. I don't mind shopping if I know what I want, go in look around and get out. That is my way of shopping. Used to be a window shopper 30 yrs back but can't do that too much any more at all. I get nervous and have anxiety when I have to go to the store, and that’s before I was put in an assisted living facility, so Lester you’re not alone! I’ve been in here for 1 year and 9 months. Watched a BBC program about ostriches and Carl is doing the male mating, courting dance to attract a female ostrich! He is trying his best to court you, Lester! Females are very dominant and very picky when they are judging a male. They make the male ostrich run after them to see how much endurance they have, and they check out the red on their legs to see if it is bright enough! They check to see how big his eyes are( must be a sign if virility) and how he flaps his wings and how elaborate his dance is! She really checks him out from head to toe, literally! So he is trying to woo you Lester! God Bless!

Go Carl!😂🤣 I don't gave a farm but I like to go to Farm & Fleet and buy my dog food, bird food for feeders and you can even take your dogs in the store. They sell baby chickens in summer too. Wish I could have a couple chickens like Goldie she is beautiful. But I rather go there then Lowes ir Menards and they sell all kinds of things besides farming supplies. You would love the store. It's actually locally owned and we have 2 in Rockford Illinois and 1 in Roscoe IL. If you see anything you could use I would be happy to ship to you! Lester as for cold sweats or headaches after leaving a store I can honestly say 😳Yes, I’ve had them. But not from buying animal products. Lester , Every Homecoming or Prom or Wedding and I go into a fancy dress shop with my girls. How can material cost so much.?Not to mention the shoes and extra needed for the special occasion. Although, I wouldn’t change a thing, my girls are lookers . The excitement and experience leaves this hillbilly babbled . I get your cold sweats buddy. 😂 lol

Yep. My anxiety goes through the roof. I haven’t been shopping in Walmart for 10+ years. There are too many options, the lighting, music, people make me shake like crazy. I prefer small stores and I won’t go in unless there are less than 5 cars in the parking lot. I never used to be like this, was very outgoing til I experienced a serious mental health breakdown that had brought on many physical Health issues. Depression I’ve always suffered with but this is something else.. Major depressive disorder. Your page does make me smile and calm. Love you guys
