I agree. Because life has its challenges. Like I have heart failure, Cardiomyopathy, I work 12 hour shifts and they're from 6 p.m to 6 a.m. those hours are a struggle as I am a morning person. All I want to do is sleep. On the weekends I spend most of my time sleeping on and off throughout the day. But the very last day I have off, thats when I clean. I know laundry easily piles up And dishes.

Preach it Karina! I have a younger brother and it drove me crazy that I had to help my mom clean on the weekends but my brother didn’t have to do a damn thing. When my mom passed away my dad had to hire a vecina to do their laundry because they don’t know how to properly clean-my dads also his families only son. When I met my husband I was SHOCKED because he knows how to do all housework and cook because he was raised by his mom, tia, and abuela. I think that’s what won me over. You keep teaching your brothers to help out even if it drives you crazy at first.

Happy for you. I know this was probably a hard video and you got it done! I am a clean freak I clean every day and the only time my house is flipped upside down is when I host and my husband and my kids help me clean because they know how I am lol I made it a habit to clean before I go to bed so when I wake up I have less to clean and it feels good to sleep with a clean home ans wake up to a clean home. So my kids know they can make a mess in their rooms but they need to clean it before bedtime. I have been teaching my 16 year old son to clean, cook, budget, laundry I mean everything because I don’t care if he is a boy he will one day go to the real life and he can depend on a woman or me.

❤❤❤looks like my house family of 8 as well. Yes it gets messy but it’s always getting cleaned up so when you see mess in my house it’s literally couple days max that it accumulates. The kids hubby n I will put music on and start doing all the chores usually on a Sunday. It’s a great way we unwind afterwards feeling accomplished and spend time together.

Another trick I’ve learned with adhd and cleaning is bring a basket in the room you are cleaning and anything that doesn’t stay in that room goes in the basket. That way you don’t have to leave the room. Then just bring the basket out with you when you are done 😁

I rember you saying on the podcast but all these people in your house living for free and in a beautiful home with how expensive rent and mortgage is in cali like wow hope they start helping no judging but you guys work so much and provide the least thing they can do is clean up after themselves atleast, and to top it off you end up having to clean everything, like what is the reason lol sending a hug 🥰🫂
