I just stopped smoking 6 days ago, I never thought it would be so damn hard mentally. My house has definitely been put on the back burner, but I’m waking up less tired so I think things will improve. ❤

I stopped 3 months ago - stopped several times before. I decorated all the way through and declutterred - that was my motivation to stay given up. Keep up the good (and hard work) of giving up the cigs - it’s worth it and anyone who says it can’t be that hard - try giving up your wine or chocolate permanently! 🤔

keep going ! the first week or so is the hardest, so you're already most of the way there! after a month you start feeling like you're breathing in HD! im so proud of you for quitting, you got this!

@@Bessie66 literally -- I stopped smoking 8 years ago now and stopped drinking almost entirely (maybe have 2-4 beers a year for 4th of July lol) but I still think about smoking, about the routine and stress relief it temporarily brings. But then I remember it's so expensive, and makes me smell terrible to everyone around me, yet makes me nose blind to it 😷🙈 when I started smelling other smokers after I quit it help keep me off of it.

You got this.. it gets so much easier! I smoked for 45 years, felt it was my best friend. I quit 4 years ago. If I walk by cigarette smoke my senses are are so offended, it's so gross, I have to try not to be that person and give a dirty look. It's just tooo gross lol

I think you're just great, I watched your clean the house video yesterday. I've always done what you do, travel from room to room and start something new. I've recently been diagnosed ADHD so now I know why I didn't do it like everyone else, but you confirmed my way is okay. I love your honesty, letting us see how having kids and a full life and mental health issues means you're knee deep in mess sometimes ✌️💜🇨🇦

My house went to pot last week because I was sick with strep throat. Finally got better and was wanting to get the house cleaned. But our 8 day old kitten ended up coming down with the strep throat we had and despite me spening 2 solid days trying to get him better, he ended up passing away last night. Today, cleaning is the last thing I want to do. But it is so over due I can't just sit in my emotions. Came to your chanel because you are always like a virtual hug and understanding that life happens and messing houses are the result of it. Love your encouragement in life and motivation in cleaning ❤

Thanks for helping motivate me because I need to do laundry and clean up anyway in case we need to go to the hospital. It's much less stressful to come home to a cleaner home after being there. And my kid is sleeping anyway, I'm just sitting there staring at her stressed out 😂

On constantly chasing our tails 😅One has to accept the fact that life has many cycles long and short , night and day , winter spring summer and autumn etc . In the same way our house goes through phases , we cannot expect it to be always clean and tidy .Otherwise we will never do anything else.❤

I think a lot of people forget that cleaning a home, that has more than 1 bedroom is always going to be hard work! And not everything is done ☑️ properly each and every day. Not all job need doing on the daily. And when you work too, with children, and a husband who also works. It’s soooo easy for your home to get out of control! But the best bit is getting to do a deep clean and a major scrubby scrub’ 😂

I think they are great. I did cleaning for years for the elderly and have used many different mops.I get extra mop heads and just put them in the washing machine and add disinfectant in the rinse cycle. They have a different one now here in Australia to separate the clean and dirty water, but I've seen people put a small bucket in the old version to keep the water separate.

@@remiclog the high chair lives in the kitchen when it's meal time or snack time it's done in the highchair pulled up to the table. Meal time is together time discussing how everyone's day was or what is gone on that day. No food anywhere but the kitchen or out side for a BBQ or a picnic. My mother didn't play step one foot into another room with food it was belt time. All meals were eaten together unless someone was working in school or had permission to eat someplace else no exception. Your butt better be in your chair on time for meals! No only a butt whipping but you didn't eat your share was eaten by your siblings so you sat there waiting for a beating with your stomach growling. Of course no snack or dersert for you. The next morning you were first at the table hoping someone else was late so you could eat their portion of food. If you didn't like what was cook you ate what was put in front of you or you went hungry until the next meal if you still wanted to be picky that was fine your share was eaten no problem. When you doubled over in pain from being hungry you learned to eat whatever no matter what.

I love your motivation, but our walls have the same situation instead of just painting over it which will drive you insane after a while. Maybe if you had sanded it down filled it in just a little bit with some soft putty meaning putty just with a little bit of water in itand then painted over you be much happier with, but I love seeing your cleaning. I was giving helpful advice. I hope not criticizing you I promise I was not trying to be mean.
