Yeah! Reminds me of our previous experiences with lizards lol The tail falls off to distract its prey so they concentrate on the wiggling tail rather than the actual lizard. Their tails grow back. Just take care of your cups etc. you don’t want lizards touching food etc. .

I miss hearing her voice and I like listening to her talk. (Amy) And I liked it better when her family lived in that cold mountain home years ago, but Amy does seem happier here in Florida. 🤓 Also, I think I remember how she used to read from the Amplified Bible? Usually, I read from the New King James, or sometimes the ESV (English Standard Version) but lately I look at the Amplified version too.

At 51:45, we used to do that too, when we still lived in apartments. I would take a large sheet tray like that, and pour out a bag of frozen French fries, after having lined the tray with aluminum foil, and a pouring of cooking oil on the bottom of the lined tray. Then drizzled the cooking oil over the entire pile of frozen fries, and put into the oven to bake at 400* for 20 minutes.

Oh goodness, I raise Bearded dragons and LOVE them! Do Maxine a HUGE favor and do NOT let her eat them. Lizards can be TOXIC ,they will also cause digestive distress! You have wild ones and so you do not know how healthy they are. If a neighbor has poison around, Maxine could be harmed. Ecoli can also be deadly. For her safety, don't let her put them in her mouth. It only takes once and I doubt she is going to wash up after playing with them.

Amy put little command hooks inside you cabinet doors under the sink and on the sides of the cabinets inside it to hand your towels on or other little thinks like that bottle brush holder to give your more space on the bottom.

At 45:29, you are talking about doing the boy's bathroom. Well, everybody that I've ever heard to talk about that, always says how much they hate doing that chore! One of the Duggar family girls used to hate having to do that, and even my daughter, hated to have to clean the boy's bathroom. When I lived with my good friend Mary years ago, her 5 yr.old son used to carelessly leave the seat down, and pee on it, so I'd make him take some windex and paper towels, and clean up after himself!

I just thought of something hearing you talk, and when you were explaining about the remote controlled blinds and curtains, and how hot it is there in the summer; well, I can imagine how you would need to run your air conditioner constantly, keeping everything closed up, and that would bother me, because I have to have windows and doors open for open breeze way, and airflow. In San Diego, it is not humid like the east coast, (I remember), so we can have the windows and doors open. We do use plenty of room fan setting, or on AC, though. In Arizona, it would be miserable baking hot! Too high heat for me. But at least Arizona is an arid heat climate.

My grandson would play with those lizards. He brings me salamanders, spiders, and crawfish to look at. He brought a huge black and white spider and sat it down and was petting it. It just sat there and didn't try to run. The pediatrician said he was the animal whisperer. 😂 I can't believe Maxine ate that lizard. Love the bike and flowers. It's snowing here in the NC mountains. Greg was so funny trying to get that lizard. Poor reptile. 😂 We have a about 11 ft long black snake in our building. He needs to go. He's to big. Don't mind around 4 ft but not big one's. ​@@hermithillfarm1123 He doesn't get them all. He's probably after the squirrels to. When they get that big they get slower. He's old he might not last much longer. I used to catch snakes. They get very strong when big. I liked catching the green garter snakes. They're cute but the black snakes do kill and eat the copperheads and rattlers. That would be the only reason I would keep him around. Have a good day.

Vacuum them then release outside. Suggestion I put a few extra trash bags folded in the bottom of each trash can ready for when you take filled bag out. 3 a week? 7 for a week? Then big container or roll goes where vacum or mops are.

I had a blue tail jump from the pool net to my belly when I was a kid. I’m scared on them. Also had a frog jump on me in the pool. Also afraid of them even though we have a pet gecko and a pet frog (for my 10 year old boy). I am afraid of both of them.😂😂😂😂😂😂 I am so glad you are better.

At 39:14, you're talking about how you mixed ground beef with ground turkey, and that nobody knew the difference; well, we have a discount grocery store here in San Diego, called, Food 4 Less, and they sell a ground meat of mixed beef and ground pork combined, and I won't eat that ever again! It tastes horrible! And we can definately taste the difference. 😮

We have moved a lot over the years..better weather is definitely a good reason...I think it's why people move here . As you age you feel things more so the warmer weather is nice never thought I'd ever get to live here so you roll with it.

We have lizards in GA too. Our dog was getting sick, vomiting every day, we had no idea why until I finally saw her with a lizard tail hanging out of her mouth. The lizards were making her sick. I've been told lizards in your house are lucky. I really don't mind them myself.

Oh...she won't eat them...she is just predator makes sure they don't move anymore and then she leaves them. I have seen cats eat them especially in our mountain home.

The lizard that bit me came through a little tiny crack between the window and the wall. look at the seals around your windows and the guilds for the windows. the day after the lizard got in we had a frog the next night. try sleeping with it croaking all night and you cant find it.. lucky when I was in the bathroom it crawled under the door. The lizards love bathrooms because of warm and steam from showers.

What?! I didn't know about dough machines either! I just went to Amazon and was amazed. I have 2 bread machines and very rarely do I ever bake in it, I almost always just have it mix the dough and do the rising before I take it out and shape it how I need to bake in the oven. I totally added a dough machine to my Christmas List. Please share how you like yours when you get it, I am super interested.

Oh no!! I am so scared of mice and lizards. A few weeks ago we have had a mouse but I thought it was gone. We haven't seen it in awhile but no. I did a load of bath towels and I opened up thr washing machine to put the towels in the dryer and there it was it had drowned in the washing machine!!!! I almost lost it.

Yes we have mice,I’m not afraid of them and I think they are kind of cute but not when they get into everything,eating my beans,chocolate and worst of all they chew up my shirts in my dresser.I read that peppermint drives them out ,they ate the peppermint in my drawer! Lol at least we can laugh about it.I have had them crawl up on my lap when I was watching tv!!!
