As a kindergarten teacher I'm so happy to hear a young mum say it's important for kids to learn to clean up after themselves. It's what we teach the kids at kindergarten (at least in mine in Germany) from a very young age, too. And you're absolutely right, it's VERY important for them to learn. And they should have (age appropriate) responsibilities. Mine was clearing out the dishwasher and put the dishes away. And I did that from age 6 and up.

Oh my gosh this was so needed to watch, I’ve been having a bit of depression and my room was so bad I would only go in there to sleep because I couldn’t stand the mess everywhere. I keep forgetting you are only a little bit older than me, just turned 20 🥳 Yesterday I took care of a big chunk of my room and threw away a lot of dead plants. Just taking things a step at a time.

There is something really special about you. You are one of a kind in the way of your ability to be self aware, you're parenting skills, and just how authentic you are. Very wise beyond your years, but please even as times leave you feeling drained and maybe jaded, please acknowledge the beauty of your youth. Find joy in even the smallest things. Continue to acknowledge your feelings and accept it is ok to feel any way that you do. Because of this video, I was able to get 3 loads of laundry done, change the sheets on my bed and deep clean my humidifier. I'm so motivated that I even swept the laundry room that I share with 8 other apartments, thats not my job but cams got me in this cleaning mode now!

This is my well needed sign to do a deep clean out unnecessary things in my room and I always say that but I just be lazy and once I heard you talked about making a list and have a reason to wanting to it (in your case to have a video to post) I also have a reason on why I want to change and try to constantly remind myself if I want the change I have to actually do what it takes to change. So thank you so much, I never thought to make a list of things I need to do until you said why you want to clean it out and I would just hoarder so much I would always say I’ll do it another day and now I realized to MAKE IT THAT DAY because that “any other day” won’t come unless YOU REALLY want it!!!!

Thank you for this. I feel like often times we know the damage our parents have caused us but no one talks about it because “you can’t talk bad about your family ”. Don’t get me wrong we love them but acknowledging that they impacted us negatively in some (or many aspects) isn’t hating them. It’s the truth. You can simply wipe the inside of the stove with baking soda. Also, heat a small cup/dish of vinegar then wipe down with water. Check on YT for instructions.

Also dropping the used yerba on soil where a plant is growing is a great idea! My mom definitely does that, you can compost it too but just dropping it is easier

Making your kids clean is the biggest gift you can give to them. The difference between people who naturally keep a clean environment and those who don't are that it became a habit as a child. If cleaning is a habit it's easy. It doesn't feel like a chore. It's second thought. You naturally just keep things clean. And for us who's parents did all the cleaning we find it so consuming and overwhelming. And we often live in some really gross conditions because it's so hard. Your kids will really thank you when they naturally keep a clean environment. I wish so much I had that kind of upbringing.

Cam, if you don't have oven cleaner a little dish soap n hot water will take grease out. After sponging down the oven use a dish towel or paper towels to wipe. ❤️

A tip for cleaning your oven without the horrible fumes is fume free easy off or the pink stuff paste I think the pink stuff worked so much better but ya just a tip. My oven was absolutely disgusting and it cleaned it up pretty nice.
