For the past couple of months I've been loving the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner. It's a little expensive($20 a jar) but I don't use a lot(you don't need a lot) so it lasts me a while!

Too funny.. I'm about to DC so I turn on YT to watch some videos at the same time and this is at the top of my subscription list LOL! And I'm DC'ing today with Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque too! I DC on clean, dry hair though. I guess I just feel like the DC can penetrate better if my hair isn't already coated with product or saturated with water. But you have to do what works for you!

Hello first of all your hair is SO gorgeous I can't wait for my 4a hair to reach your length :) I have just one question. Is it ok to use a regular conditioner as a deep conditioner? Do you have to add oils to make it like a deep conditioner? I hope you get back to me.

You can use a regular conditioner to deep condition, but every once in a while make sure to buy a little pouch conditioner you can find at target for under $3 to make sure your hair shaft is penetrated properly. Also, make sure you do protein conditioners as often as you deep condition (I deep and protein condition twice a month) to keep a protein moisture balance and add strength to your hair :)

Quick question, shouldn't you wet your hair first before you apply your coconut oil so the hair can observe the oil better.

This is what they call a pre-poo. Applying oil and conditioner to your hair then shampooing after. Anyway, your hair is gorgeous.

Depends how much you put on. Sometimes mine will stay straight and other times it wont totally curly until I sit under the dryer or wet it!!
