That's a Co2 RM Laser. I just did a review on it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpnRdWqJpsyUnJo Best and most inexpensive laser I've ever seen. Direct from the factory.

Open another instance of lightburn and have each one connected to a different laser

Yes you can! Click File --> New Window and connect to the other laser.

Im very new to this but i did an engrave with the outline on 1 sub layer, however there were some parts of the image where the "outline" cut didn't quite match up to the engrave. What am i doing wrong?

This is a hardware issue. Likely you're belts are not tight or the gantry isn't square Heather.

I don't see how "start at bottom" helps with the vent. Either way, you are still pulling smoke and/or soot up across the material. The laser actually has to cut across any residue pulled upwards by the exhaust if you start at the bottom. If anything, I would think starting as close to the exhaust as possible would be better, but still either way... you're pulling residue across the piece 🤷‍♂

Try it both ways and test it. The air is moving backward, so the smoke and small debris will as well.
