I keep a sharpie by the freezer and mark the purchase date right on the package. When I defrost, I put the oldest items on top to use up soon. Those bins and containers are so helpful!

Those packages from the store are not freezer safe, you can always transfer them to freezer bags

Most that meat should of been ion freezer bags and corn but yeah I use markers but that wipes off so I mark on sticker papers place inside dollar tree ( will eventually break from the temperature)buy canvas
