I miss the desert , I grew up going to the Anza Borrego desert from where I lived in El Cajon . Fonts point is near where we used to camp during Thanksgivings , the whole family would come out for 3 days which meant about 10 sometimes more 4Wheel drives , great times . Most people reading this would kill to have Marco on a trip with them , I know I would . He reminds me of another person I used to know that could make a gourmet meal out of what seems like nothing . Nice video to end the year , I hope to make it down there sometime this year even though my destination is south Texas I plan to swing by that area on my way there from where I am in Washington .

I have thoroughly enjoyed the way you all shared this trip with us - have seen bits on your channel, TrailRecon, and OverlandX. Lots of fun! Didn't realize that those bespoke expedition trailers have brakes. Probably really helped on that steep descent. I pull an M416 trailer - brakes hand actuated (parking brake). I suspect a trailer like mine likely would have tried to pass me on the way down that slope!
