Reminds me of all the church basement shows I saw in the early '70s by local bands. $2 bucks to get in and the band supplied the pizza. Crowding the stage without being clobbered by security or some mosher. I love the b/w film stock. Those days are truly over.

Three things that come to mind 1) OMG Ian Paice beast mode 2) I've never noticed how great Roger's basswork is on this song, and 3) this is the third song from this concert I've seen and I don't see monitors anywhere for Gillan. How?

Hey, I know, why not focus on Ian Paice during one of the few bass solos Mark II ever did and THEN focus on Roger Glover during the Hammond solo? Way out man. OK, OK, rant over. Have to say, Paice, and Glover just shine in this

That happens when the music is too loud and you don't hear yourself. Bad monitoring there I guess.

@@ernt03 I agree with 118haifa; he sings out of tune mainly at the beginning of the song. I guess it's because the monitor isn't adjusted correct; they just plug in and start playing.

Ritchie Blackmore is rotten WHY ? he manipulated Nick Simper (b) and Rod Evans at Mark I, he manipulated Roger Glover (b) and Ian Gillan at Mark II, but he failed same at Mark III with Glenn Hughes (b) and David Coverdale...so he took his HUUUUUUGE EGO AND RESIGNED AWAY FROM DEEP PURPLE....SHAME MUSICAL SHAME on you RITCHIE BLACKMORE
@jerelsalazar795911 ай бұрын
It's his band, his business company, and his songs. Just think of the band as Richie Blackmore, like Michael Jackson or James Taylor. They're the dictator
