Jon Lord on "The Beast". His Hammond C-3 played through a Marshall amp. Ritchie didn't like playing rhythm and Jon wanted his Hammond to sound like a guitar. If you really want to hear them in sync, listen to "Place In Line". Jon, Ritchie and Roger are pitch perfect.

Cop an earful of Rainbow then! Formed by DP lead Ritchie Blackmore who took bassist Jimmy Bain and Tony Carey on keyboards from the last version of DP, teamed up with vocalist Ronnie James Dio and one of the best drummers ever in Cozy Powell on his double bass drum kit. They started out as heavy rock which transitioned into heavy metal. Try Stargazer and then it’s sequel Light in the Black. Kill the King, Man on a Silver Mountain, Tarot Woman and Run with the Wolf are also excellent
