While Jon was always great and Blackmore made a huge jump in ability between Deep Purple and In Rock, I think Ian Paice just kept on growing. Some of his fills on the albums Burn and Stormbringer are just beyond what he's playing in the Mk2 period. Love it.

Listen to ''Burn'' again and follow Ian Paice on the drums and see how ferocious his delivery is. DP were never known usually for their long intros.....9 out of ten times they lit the fuse and let the track explode....I recommend ''Bloodsucker'' and ''No One Came'' pure dynamite.

Saw Purple on the Burn tour. David Coverdale and Glen Hughes brought something new Purple. Coverdale still does this with Whitesnake it's that good. You should listen to Mistreated from the same album. A real bluesy rocker.

"You Keep On Moving" has a rather quiet intro but it doesn't take long for the song to burst out 😉 Same line-up except for Ritchie Blackmore who was replaced by the late great Tommy Bolin. A must listen

I love this song! It was a real showcase for Richie Blackmore and Jon Lord, but those drums - they're crazy! The only thing I don't like is the "ha ha ha ha" on the live version. If only Glen Hughes sang it live like this studio version.

Start with the Bon Scott era - Let There Be Rock, It's a Long Way to the Top, For Those About to Rock, Girls Got Rhythm, A Touch too Much, on through with Brian Johnson - Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, Back in Black, all the way to their newest album which just came out in November. A more than 40 year journey into down and dirty rock.

You should do (Ritchie Blackmore's) Rainbow, maybe Kill the King and Gates of Babylon, then you should listen to Stargazer and A Light in the Black back-to-back. Stargazer and A Light in the Black are the same story, both 8 minutes, maybe if you're willing to risk it, combine them into one video or make two videos you release back-to-back.
