Ian Paice such a brilliant drummer and up there with Bonham and Baker IMO

I was listening to you play New Dawn Fades and hearing the original guitar part and not being immediately able to put a name to it, even though I knew it was something I loved. Wonderful song. Space Truckin' is the sound of a band absolutely at the height of it's powers. The drumming is the highlight of the track. It's one of the few Deep Purple songs where I prefer the studio version to the live.

Sounds like trust issues my man. Richard, your patience knows no bounds. Speaking of Macca, I would argue that Wings - “I am your singer” is a love song to love songs. And Deep Purple is awesome.

This song fucking rules, it's so energetic, all the parts and details are maximum badass. The singing is badass. Blackmoore is (was) badass. Gillan rips. Drums from hell. It grooves like a mf. Extremely inspiring song, if I make it to old old age I will still feel the same way about it like the very first time I heard it. Haulin' that cargo thru the solar system forever bro, let's go

Billy Shears is the alias of Ringo in Sgt. Peppers so that part of the conspiracy never made sense to me. I do agree that it's strange though, I definitely went down the rabbit hole in high school and was a believer until a certain age but maybe I should revisit it.

Great reaction and a very entertaining debate about the existence of Paul McCartney. BTW, I have it on good authority (from John Lennon, who is my neighbor) that Paul never existed. In truth, it was the reincarnation of Heinrich Engelhard Steinweg, who was the Beatles' bass player. Steinweg was a German piano maker who emigrated to the USA and anglicized his name there to call himself Henry E. Steinway. I doubt you've ever heard of him, especially you Judson, since you don't play bass. No, I'm just kidding, John Lennon is not my neighbor at all, but the neighbor of a friend of mine who told me this story. 😉 I hope this is not the end of your channel.
