Joe Lynn Turner is a great singer and I think close-minded people did not accept this line up, because they thought it was sort of Deep Rainbow. The Slaves & Masters LP was as great as underrated.

Was a little bit like Battle Rages On but with slow songs but Joe have better voice than Gillan (today ).

Totally one of my favorite albums. I think that those who dis Joe Lynn over Ian Gillan don't take into account the fact that Richie Blackmore himself thought that Joe Lynn was a great singer. This is really good rock and roll. I'm so glad to see a professional recording of Deep Purple during Joe Lynn's tenure. Thank you so much!

These Czechoslovakians were fucking hyped for Deep Purple and I can respect that. As a fellow Czech, I approve

Trust Deep Purple to always give 100%+ in their performances. It's been always like that - like some spirit lives in them.

3:38 ...they finally realize there's a guitar player on stage. No doubt Ritchie chased all the camera people from his side of the stage.

Deep Purple é Gillan, Coverdale ou Dio. Apersar q Turner canta bem e tem o estilo da banda, mas nao tem o DNA Purple.

Why don't they put the camera on Richie Blackmore when hes jamming! Emmon!? They got the camera on Joe Lynn Turner! WTF! I don't know I just never liked the guy. And I'm a huge D purple man
@lightintheblack538112 жыл бұрын
great song by a great band but WRONG singer for this band. There is no way on this planet that JLT should EVER have been given the Purple job he was fine in Rainbow during the commercial Foreigner copycat days but should be nowhere close to Deep Purple IMHO
@gnrnando882 жыл бұрын
Its funny that both of you motioned that JLT is more a AOR/foreigner type of voice, when he had did a amazing job singing heavy metal with Malmsteen few years before he joined DP. The guy has an amazing rock and versatile voice and works perfectly to the band.
