I’m impressed by how well Ian sings. You wouldn’t expect that much out of a 73 year old man. No auto tune or playback. That’s talent.

I was there and it was fantastic Europe was a fuckin good second best but Purple was really on their game, We all know Gillans vocals are well past there sell by date but he has arranged the songs to suit his vocal range and that deserves credit Long live Deep Purple

Best left handed drummer Paicey, the only surviving member of the original band set-up - he recovered well after his stroke. Man, I hate to get old... And Don still looks like an old lady that just put the kettle on instead of letting it rip on the Hammond...

If you notice, DP band are always on the same "platform"... no drum kit on a 6 foot platform or keboard sittign higher than the rest. I wonder whether this is in fact a reflection of the band's excellent inter-personal relationsip and the importance on putting every member's contribution on same level

Don Aireys's Minimoog is out of tune .. otherwise great effort by the band. I'm a keyboard player about their age, and it ain't easy when your starting to get up there in age 🙄 Much respect for these guys.

Don Airey is good too. We need to stop living in the past ... this version is also excellent. I have been following DP and all offsprings since 1971 and loved them all. Great musicianship before everything no compromise

Satriani and Morse is too much distortion, Blackmore didn't have to hide behind distortion to play fast with accuracy
