Love Satriani's interpretation. If you wanna hear Blackmore listen to Blackmore play it. Otherwise, just enjoy this beautiful song performed by these amazing musicians.

@4:19 Joe's choice of a thin, naked, soul-less Ibanez guitar literally robs his performance from the chance to sound epic. Blackmore, gilmour, Clapton, Hendrix, Malmsteen... name a guitar God that didn't use a classic axe, one with a signature sound. Satch, and Vai... sound like video game music, by comparison, yet both are so talented.

Still very close to the recorded 70s version, which (imo) suits the song much better than the spheric keyboard-aproach of newer versions either way, just such a great band, in every incarnation! (oh, just noticed I copied that from: "Either way, truth huuu-urts.." ->1991. another, different but still good, period, so it seems I was right :P)

Да, Сатриани, ни Блэкмор, у каждого из них своя прекрасная манера игры на гитаре, некоторые импровизации обыгрышей песен Дип Пепла у Сатриани мне не нравятся, но, отдельные, намного интересней и свежей Блэкморовских, слушаю их с большим удовольствием...
