I have been deep rockfishing at 14 miles bank on Saturdays. (Probably like 5/6 times) but it’s hard to show videos of rockfishing because you just drop and wait…. Reel and wait… and repeat. Not sure how many folks wants to see me rockfishing every week. lol Just came back again from deep rockfishing at 14 miles bank. Fished solo for 1.5 hrs and came back. Water was getting rough. Got some deacent size again. Have a great weekend bill.

Ever try slow pitch jigging? With the spotlock on the trolling motor, it makes it easier.

@@laziee82 no …. We do regular jigging but not much luck. I did start buying slow pitch jiggin for BFT but not for rockfishing. We mainly use electric reels and we have been fishing around 720 to 740 feet.

​@@Fishingwithjameschoitry out those same bluefin jigs, but on a proper slow pitch jig setup. Smaller electric reels also work. Trick is the thinner braid, 20-30lb max. Been out many times where the fish wouldn't bite bait, but would bite any jig worked in the column. Also, no kimchi with the chapagetti? Beast right there.

I believe those aren't vermillions; they appear to be Mexican rockfish, which aren’t subject to the 2-per-person limit. (Though, to be fair, I’m not an expert but i would challenge your comment with absolute certainty.) We’re always committed to following all guidelines and regulations to the best of our ability.
