@@precipk personally if I were you I’d at least turn health and maybe a few other things back on, and set a few things to dynamic so that they show up when you hold your laser pointer. I love a minimalistic hud too, but I still keep the essentials on.

When I have a mactera infestation I use thin containment field. For all your mining and exterminating needs.

Trijaws require a different strategy to mactera spawn. Mactera spawn shoot 1 projectile directly at you so moving side to side avoids it but trijaws fire a shotgun volley of 3 projectiles. 1 to your left, 1 to your right and 1 right on your position. If you move to the sides you still get hit but if you walk toward them as they shoot every projectile will miss.

Oh Man I feel you on this deep dive. Tried to get the 2nd stage done with a couple of friends for a couple of hours yesterday and we just couldnt. Low oxygen + Aquarq mission is a dangerous combo.

The only solution i found to this combo is to call 2-3 resupplies as early as possible in strategic positions quite a bit away from the drop pod. To have them up exclusively as O² cannisters.

@@precipk Yeah when you get THAT much attention on you there isn't much you can do. I'd honestly use Engi on this specifically to reinforce the "home platform" with the extra turret (yes, in Haz 5 solo i'd take the single power turret) and a Steve Guard... One thing that has been mentioned before is the active "Dash", your deaths always come once you get locked down by getting hit and being slowed, ESPECIALLY if it's a Slasher which can slow you buy like 80% for a second, absolutely deadly. The Dash or the Hover Boots might save your life in those moments. But generally the only options are to create as many "Safe spaces" as possible.

6:44 Bosco can mine red sugar, so if you're in a pinch like this, you can just have him drop some down for you. 10:04 Not a bad strategy, sure do hope a Bulk doesn't show up. 13:57 The technically don't, they do however have volumetric projectiles, which means you can walk into them and receive damage by coming into contact with any part of their hit box. Some other examples of volumetric projectiles are the Engi's platform gun, Goo bomber goo balls, The regular and charged epc shots, the pheromone ball from the dreadnought, Corrosive sludge pump shots, acid spitter's acid, Menace's bile and so on. 14:38 Yes it is, it is incredibly hard, especially solo. While I don't know the exact hazard level, I'd estimate it would be at minimum haz 5. 14:48 The issue with mactera and avoiding is that they will only move to get into position to shoot and avoid damage. If you are within range they will continue shooting until you get ut of range at which point they will attempt to avoid damage while getting closer. This paired with Glyphids bee lining towards yo can make movements effective against ground targets useless due to the continual bombardment from the mactera. You'll want to increase the overall area you move to avoid glyphids by a couple times just to keep mactera from shooting. If you're only used to warding off ground bugs or air bugs but not both, the combined forces will be more than you can handle. 16:17 I spy with my little eye, a Clown Car. 17:15 For these kinds of situations I'd recommend the dash perk over berserker. 18:28 Many players use the resupplier perk forthis very reason. Time for some build critiques(note that these are what I personally would do to try and remedy some issues): First off since you have Bosco I'd put burning nightmare(tier 5 number 1) on the EPC so you can get multiple(more) targets with a charged shot. I'd also replace berserker with the dash so I could get past dangerous bugs faster. You may want to consider putting on the shield recharge delay reduction on if you haven't already. And finally the satchel charge, it may be advantageous to put on the fear modifier so that any survivors will be delayed immediately after the detonation. Since you don't seem to use it for mining you can focus its utility on battle, so either increase its damage or ammo capacity. Hope this helps.

Fear would work on the C4 that makes sense and also and i think i had berserk on but i took it off and resupplier but i feel like whatever glyphids or macteria i dont see are somehow like cracked like there was a point were a regular macteria was so far away from me by the time i saw him and i was moving continuously it was like he aim botted me it felt so bad idk.

Man, you gotta try out Dash perk on everyone except Scout... its a game changer. All those times you were trying to run but getting hit in the back or while reloading etc, all fixed by Dash. Its such a crazy perk I think it should just be baseline

I know that agony on stage 2, I had a game with randoms where I had to work overtime with crowd control as engie, I'm lucky to have spinning death oc on my breach cutter to give me and my team breathing room

Stage two was so bs somebody also mentioned that the stage could be bugged like one of the aquas don’t spawn sometimes or something but other than that to have to go for aquas while preparing for swarm after swarm it was so annoying

Yeah, aquark missions are tough, enemy waves hit harder and harder over time, so it's a good idea to finish it up in 10-15 minutes, otherwise it quickly becomes nearly impossible with constant swarms

I know an upgrade for the wave cooker best used with the flamethrower or the frost cannon. it'll do extra temperature shock damage. best on the big guys.

Did a EDD by myself once and was really stressed out, completed it though. Tbh I think it's better if you do it with other people. Sure the difficulty setting might make it worse and make it spawn more leeches,spitballers,brood nexuses but having more friends is always so much better

Quick tip : if there are so many bugs in front of your face pull out your drill and drill them it will inflict fear and buy you a huge room to kite and recover, also you can pull out your drill to destroy spitballer's projectile , do not run aoe upgrade and dmg for your c4 just stick with max ammo it's safer that way :)

Also maybe use other primary for now? since you're struggling so badly in kiting , maybe goo instead of crisper judging from ur playstyle goo will help u get used to bug pathing, movement speed , etc

@@precipk I like just running around with neurotoxin and tier 5 mod fear whenever it gets intense I just shoot the floor near my teammates feet and it scares everything away and it’s really ammo efficient

@@precipk I have a build recommendation for you then 33122 is really cool for just chilling and walking around the extra rpm makes it easy to activate fear but I use 32222 it’s a bit of extra splash dmg takes grunts out really fast

If you decide to do it solo I recommend changing your build a bit, maybe at least grabbing the mag size mod on your flamer to make it a bit better for swarm clearing. Dash would be a great perk to grab as well, cause it’ll let you get out of sticky situations.
