@@Jukantos im not american but your country´s idea that children should not be allowed to work even if they WISH to do so always sounded to me like an attempt at controlling younger generations by limiting their access to being independent and self reliant from a young age which may explain the lack of any skills whatsoever in the average young american.

There are jobs you can start working starting at age 14 but they are specifically and strictly limited (maximum or 2 hours and before 6pm at age 14/15, then extended to i believe 6 hours before 8pm at age 16/17). These laws are in place to protect children. Education and healthcare and basic subsistance are mandatory and free (parents get a fixed payout monthly to take care of their kids). During the age of 15-18 you are also expected to do at least 2 (back in my day) internships during school holidays. Nowadays certain schools require up to SIX internships across your higher education years, totaling up to 15 weeks of work experience.

This game is definitely worth giving a chance. Sseth did not mention a huge number of things, including the fact that all the content in the "seasons" is absolutely free, and that there is a large community of modders for the game. Rock and stone!

The cosmetics in the performance pass also get added to the other loot tables once the season is over as well, and the event stuff from the season will still exist in the game, but at a rarer occurance. There is literally not a single instance of FOMO aside from the festive content, which is understandable.

Its a really good game with an even better community. The dev also love that game. They once used a place holder for a meteor event called S.M.O.L meteor (because it was small) and forgot to remove it. They noticed and patched it out. The community thought it was awesome and wanted it back in. The devs, with a jawline you can cut ROCKs and STONES with i might add, patched it back in. Not to mention they added specific voicelines for the "Mushroom" or "Were Rich!" thing. Its a one of a kind game. And always remember. If you dont ROCK and STONE you ain't coming home!

I love how they notice certain bugs the community grows found off and instead of coldly removing it without a care, they actually make content around said bug, the meteor fragment shower is an excellent example But a more recent one, there was a bug where each time you promoted a dwarf the weekly Matrix Core hunts reset so you could have more cores per week if you grinded. Some time later they patched the bug and let’s just say the community was very mixed about it, but the devs where quick to fix the problem by making all sides happy making a feature even better than the bug, so now each time you promote you’re gifted 3 cores (the same as the weekly challenge just without doing the extra work)

The biggest plus is that there is no FOMO. When a season ends, the content that you didn't unlock gets put back into an in-game loot crate that you find during a mission. Randomized, ofc. There's DLC but it's cosmetic only. And not limited as far as I'm aware of. A price I'm willing to pay for constant support for this game. Truly a customer/consumer friendly game.

Best advice is to play with friends or join a lobby until you promote a dwarf. The slowest the game gets is the time leading up to the first promotion of any class, but it is really fun once you get there.

The game is great, You can even play solo and the game gives you a robot companion that can help not just in mining and repair tasks but in combat too! The thing even revives you if you die. (It also has its own upgrade tree!)

One point I cannot stress enough about the communication, Sseth is not joking. Deep rock's players are constantly pinging, writing and asking about the next course of action. Sure you can always find one dickhead among a thousand mission, but it's one of the sweetest community. A greenbeard dying 6 times in an elimination mission isn't considered a dead weight or insulted into oblivion, he is "learning the game" and the greybeards are quite okay with showing new players the ropes.

This game is on its third season of cosmetics but it’s set us that you can unlock any of the previous cosmetics by just playing the game. There’s no fomo with cosmetics in this game. Just chill and play and you can unlock everything from gun skins to new blinged out beards. It’s rather enjoyable.

I played this game for a bit but it felt too repetitive without enough variety. I felt it was the most fun when a mission went to shit and we had to somehow salvage the mess we were in. Basically you have to play bad to have fun. If everyone is playing at their peak then it is kinda dull when things go smoothly.
