One of the scariest parts of this is "ask if they can recall their mother's name" and "ask if they have stopped dreaming" because it implies that the disease has psychological effects on the victim, including memory loss, even before *sprouting* begins

The reason is because what they become is not the victim. It can't recall personal details, only appear as the victim. It also believes it is the victim until sprouting.

Yeah I live with five Woodcrawlers so its hard not to be infected by Deep Root Disease, but what you want to do is check your entire body for bulbs every morning and take it out. If rooting started see if you can pull it out, if not just cut your limb off. Afterwards go to each woodcrawler you live with and ask around who infected you, after you discover the truth, tell him that he is not getting human flesh for a day. Hope that helpd if you have any fake people as roommates.

Alright, here we go. The "Iris" is a foreign object that ran into the Solar System. It began infecting Neptune, and turned the Great Dark Spot into a sort of lens (hence the name "The Lens"). The lens then projected things called "Gardeners", "Woodstalkers", and "Skinwalkers" onto Earth. Skincrawlers produce auditory hallucinations, normally a person screaming for help. When approached the Woodcrawlers kill them. The Gardeners dug deep under ground and planted a "Garden", which grows "Nature's Mockery", which is a very deadly 'plant' that can transform someone, as seen in this video, into a Woodstalker. When the Mockery blooms, the Woodstalkers harvest them and bring them to a large families' home (preferably the attic, if available). The place the creatures were beamed was a place call "Moonlight Acres", and when they finally found out about the Woodcrawlers, they offered a deal. The Skinwalkers disguised themselves as humans and finalized the deal. The deal was the Woodcrawlers would not kill anyone on Moonlight Acres, provided the camp counselors send children out into the forest at night as part of a game called "Feed the Woods". Jack "Wilder" Dean started hearing rumors about these occurances, and went to investigate. He filmed most of these videos like "Nature Guide" and "World's Weirdest Animals", to warn the rest of the world and how to protect yourself (Storm Safety Tips) about this, disguising them as simple documentaries. He was sadly killed. That's about it, hope that's explains it LOL

Gemini Home Entertainment theory So.... I would say that the story began on “Our solar system”. When saturn was being presented, you could see neptune on upper top which means neptune could move from its orbit to another. When neptune was quote on quote “mutated”, i can say that neptune becomes The iris’ “vessels”. At the moment when presentation neptune was about to end, theres a weird looking eye rotates and slowly opening its. It is similiar to The Iris where it is going to open its ring maybe? And then neptune shoot a blue ray that passes several planets (including earth). And before continuing, the video mentions that Saturn is the “gateway” which i guess means saturn is a planet that will make neptune’s blue ray thingy also ended up in inferior planets. So the blue ray hit some living being on earth. On the deep blue, at the very end we could see that weird looking creature staring on the camera. I could say that the blue ray hits some living being on the ocean. When it transforms into that creature, i think it ran away to the deepest bottom of the ocean or i could say the “demisia tunnel”. Before continuing again, i could say that demisia tunnel connects to the earth’s core (just a theory). On world’s weirdest animal, we could see “woodcrawlers” and “nature’s mockery” on some occation. When the blue ray hits a plant, i could say that it transforms into “nature’s mockery”. I identified it as a plant because in the Wilderness survival guide, it says that “nature’s mockery” considered a plant. Nature’s mockery makes people hallucinated. When the part where the bear becomes a weird looking creature, it probably turns into one of woodcrawlers’ vessels. I call them vessels because in camp information video at the part when a woodcrawler (or skinwalker to be exact. Maybe theyre the same?) Ask to enter thingy presented, victims are so called “vessels”. The part when the camp information video activities part shows the “lights in the sky event”, it is maybe the blue ray but this is doubtful. At the Mythos part where it said that a man rumoured to be walking on administration cabin every night for years, i can say that the man is one of woodcrawler’s vessels. And then when it said “a deal was made by the strange man”, i can doubt that the man “hallucinated” the admin and then become a skinwalker when the man dissapears. So in that word, the skinwalker knocks people’s door so that it can “eat” them or making them become it’s vessels (doubtful). On storm safety tips, we can see that woodcrawlers lived in the underground and it can “hijacks” radio transmission. They can hijack it because in the video it mentions “ignored all sound produced by the radio. These are all auditory hallucination”. Nature’s mockery can make people “auditory hallucinated” so this theory is a bit doubtful. Moving on Artificial Computer Learning... Before i start, the silver box reffers to the computer on the video. The computer is telling a story about 2 person; Mary and Jack, Going to a river which the story has a plot twist when Jack becomes something else. That “something else” is a woodcrawler because the video mentions “hungry eye”. Either Jack makes Mary a vessel or eat her up. I could say that the computer’s story was script by Jack himself. I can say that Jack becomes a human again. This theory is possible because the Wilderness Survival Guide video where the bear becomes a weird creature, it is possible that the one who becomes a woodcrawler can shapeshift back to its original form. Games for kids, Wilderness survival guide, Lethal omen, sleep image visualiser, and some part of camp information video is connected to each other. So i will start on games for kids first then moving on to the rest of em. The part when it shows “Feed the woods”, it could mean that whoever going to the woods and scream, woodcrawlers will eat them or making them a vessel. The ending part in camp information video, we could hear a children scream. Its either that the kid trying to play “Feed the woods” or the kid answered the knocking door. Lethal omen shows that we’re playing as a cop that is investigating a camp. Suprisingly, we’re investigating moonlight acres camp. Why we’re playing as a cop? 2 possible answers : 1, We’re playing as a cop because we were trying to investigate the dissapearance of the one who become woodcrawler’s vessel. 2, At the ending of games for kids video, a cop car is being somewhat consumed? (I will explain more later on this answer) At the part where we got attacked by enemies, it is possible that those enemies are actually woodcrawler’s vessel or nature’s mockery fake people or people who got “auditory hallucination”. At some part we could see someone got attached on a weird looking thing. I can say it is nature’s mockery. And then when someone appears near the nature’s mockery location, we were forced to run from that person. And i think the enemies are “fake people” that were made by nature’s mockery because all of the enemies looks the same as the one who got attached on that one nature’s mockery. At the end of the gameplay, we could hear someone screaming “Help!” this event is similiar to the wilderness survival guide video ending part where we could see and hear someone screaming “Help!” too (btw im both talking about the actual gameplay of lethal omen and the video from Gemini Home Entertainment one. Also the game actually releases and playable too!). Since lethal omen has different endings, i will only talk about the normal ending one (although all the endings are connected to the universe). At some part of the gameplay, we were told to run on a bunker. Suprise suprise! It started to get stormy and the bunker is similiar to the Storm Safety Tips one also the part where theres a weird tentacle thingy is probably a woodcrawler. At the very end of the game, it is possible we’re trying to search the police car but ending up hearing someone screaming “Help!” instead and The Iris starts to rise up on the camp too. On sleep image visualiser, we can see that people are doing the method that are mentioned from the video. At some part, we could see a weird mannequin face right? Its actually connected to one of lethal omen ending! And then suddenly someone knock on one of the part. The guy probably answered the knock and actually one of woodcrawler’s vessels! The part where the mannequin stares at the guy who is sleeping is actually connected to moonlight acres! How? In one of the cabin in lethal omen, we could see a tv and the machine of sleep image visualiser being played. And coincidentally, at the end of the video, we could see something is rising and its actually The Iris! This is similiar to lethal omen ending part actually. Now moving on a new segment... Advanced mining vehicle... The video shows that how woodcrawler reproduce on some part of the video and also the woodcrawler itself. It is also explain how they reproduct too. Where the vehicle got deeper and deeper, it is possible that it falls to a hole and lost connection. And finally, the newest segment... Deep root disease! The video was talking about how root can make people become a woodcrawlers. The video mentions that if the root contacts with a bone, it will spread its colonies. That means, those roots are created by none other than the woodcrawlers itselfs! At the almost end of the video, we can see that someone is becoming something else. And that something else is a woodcrawler... And thus this is the ending of my theory! What a ride! Updates will happended if GME uploads more videos and i will talk more about it! Remember, this is just a theory. If you know something else that can add up the theory that i’ve talked about, you could tell me in the replies!

I think the "well-dressed men" referred to in Camp Information Video are the mannequins, as the mannequins in Sleep Image Visualizer are wearing suits, and when you get the mannequin ending in Lethal Omen, you hear knocking on the camp administration door. Also, the screaming in Camp Information Video may be the woodcrawlers themselves, as when the woodcrawler enters the bunker through the wall in Lethal Omen, it makes a scream-like sound, and it's stated in World's Weirdest Animals about the woodcrawlers that "You will hear screaming. They stole their voices."

im pretty sure in the artificial intelligence its mary who becomes something else right? thats why the nature survival video is by a guy named jack, and why it mentions the river, and why it knows so much about wood crawlers and how to avoid them. i think that deep root disease infected mary, making her a fake person, then into natures mockery, then into a wood crawler. kind of like fake people is the larvae stage, natures mockery is the crysilis stage, and woodcrawlers is the butterfly or fully formed stage. this is also supported by the way natures mockery has a human face in it, from the fake people becoming woodcrawlers

So, an additional point... In the contraction bit, you can hear a kind of giggling at the end of the clip. It's similar to the giggling heard in the mannequin end for Lethal Omen. And if the mannequins are attached to the creepy dude from the sleep visualizer video.... Well, does sleeping alone open you to Deep Root Disease?
@hstochla3 жыл бұрын
Mannequins are seen in SIV, staring at Jack from his bed. A deep root disease victim is also seen staring at Jack from his bed in Crusader Probe mission on the same dates as each other. This implies that mannequins are DRD victims. The giggling may signify that Deep Root Disease is contracted by contact from another victim.

The video is intentionally vague on how to treat it. I take it debridement does not stop the infection if it's deep into muscle and other tissue? Good video series so far. Great animation work. Looking forward to your next upload.

The treatment, if debridement doesn't work, is to burn the bodies lest they stand up again.

My theory is we have two creatures: wood crawlers and vessels (or skin walkers). Wood crawlers seem to be the actual creature from space and either produce or spread nature’s mockery. It seems nature’s mockery spreads when a creature makes physical contact with nature’s mockery. Deep Root Disease is contracted and their body transforms into that wooden fleshy plant in Lethal Omen. Vessels I think are just wood crawlers that disguised as humans and aren’t really separate creatures but I could be wrong. Also it seems wood crawlers are aliens that travel from planet to planet (our solar system shows a blue ray and a “gate way”. As well as the children’s game showing Earth at the end and the line “Found You”). Feed the forest is probably meant to inform us what wood crawlers do, where, and why. To spread the infection of Nature’s mockery (which probably makes more wood crawlers as seen in the nest in the mining video) and/or find more hosts and expand. Edit: I wonder if the iris is some sort of organic planet that attacks other solar systems like some kind of cosmic horror. It’s definitely the home world for these creatures

Thanks for uploading the infomercial! Symptoms of Deep Root disease are easy to confuse with a very normal normal normal normal normal normal normal process of Psychical trans-Boletutian Flowering, given the bone-blessing fungi and all, so it's hard to find any helpful info online. To my knowledge, the main difference is that Flowering dissolves the bone, while Sprouting forms new, better bones; I believe this is due to the different fungi species being involved. A friend of mine had a relative who contacted a very nasty case of the latter... needless to say the woods were satisfied with the offering it got that night.
