Hi Liam would this work for cultivated or would you change a few settings. Brilliant video. Also been hearing on the grape vine that the 1.11 update is proving to be not as deep searching as previous updates. Do you think this is true or is it just using the wrong settings on the legend. 👍🏻

I always go for m2 on cultivated , more nimble and higher frequencies are better to get through the mineralisation. I’ve not found much performance difference between .09 .11 , added features that come with .11 are good to have on the legend 👍🏻

Great video full of tips and tricks as usual. I didn't know about gb the pointer and I've often cursed my nokta pointer for going off at everything! Out tomorrow for the first time in a few weeks so will do that if it's going nuts 👍

All metal or ground disc pattern if ground is lively , 4khz Field Mode Ferrous Tone break 10 Pitch audio Iron volume 5 non ferrous 10 Iron pitch 4 non ferrous 26 Audio gain 4 -5 Bottle caps 2( discrims large iron turn off if want to dig iron) Recovery 2-3 (low and slow) Ground balance and noise cancel Sensitivity set as high as you can without the legend becoming unstable Deep spade 😀👍🏻 Good luck🧑‍🦯

Not as good as the lg24 , smaller faster , will hit better , and less mineralised footprint because of size

What was your threshold, threshold frequency, sensitivity, iron filter and stability settings? You did not mention them in the video

Sensitivity always run as high but as stable as you can

I always start if 2 st 1, and then accustom to the ground and the way I want to hunt , I have had it at if 1 st 1 and as high as if 5 st 1, always changing settings when on feild

Love them big fat silver two shillings, they have such a fat milled edge. Not found one in donkeys years, but now I've said that, I'll probably go n find one in the next few weeks. Your pinpointer is going crazy cuz its picking up the iron and mineralisation (UPDATE just got to the point where you ground balanced it YOLO). I have some permissions like that. If you hold the tip to the ground, then turn it on, it will discriminate the iron and minerals. Fancy goin out with a flat phone battery. First item in my kit bag is a powerbank. Having said that I went detecting on Sunday n my damn coil hadn't charged properly n died after 2 hours. Absolutely raging, if you wana slate XP, its the antique pre historic method of charging the coil !!

I can’t hunt for 30 min in 4khz without the battery dying. If I know I’ll be using 4khz I bring that external battery.

Alright Cody , you should be getting a lot more than 30 mins in single 4khz , definitely something wrong there,

@@HistoryRevisiteduk I’ve talked with a few people about it and some say there’s does the same thing and others say they can go much longer. It will show 3 bars left, but will automatically shut down about every 5-10min. Then I have to start it back up again and it will do the same, but if i switch out of 4khz the battery will continue to run after switching. There is something about 4khz on my machine that makes the battery drop dead.

About the Battery Problem and I was having the EMI Problem's with the Simplex + that would not shut up until I turned it off and then I traded it up for the Equinox 600 and I have also bought the X-Terra Pro and it's a different story of what I have been wanting for 50 years of Detecting that a detector that will tell me what is in the ground before I take the time to go ahead and Dig it up and then be disappointed 😞☹️ again and again when I was using the Simplex + Notka Macro Product's.

@@carolrice2063 yeah, I’ve tried everything. This winter when the ground is froze I’m going to send it in. I love the machine. It is getting worse tho. Now every once in a while I will turn it on after full charge &!won’t fully charge no matter how long I charge & within 10 min of detecting the machine will shut down, but once I turn it back on it will run again 2 hours if I’m lucky then it keeps shutting down. I use that external battery pack more then my pinpointer…lol. Jk I do always have that external pack with me tho. My Simplex will dang near go all week. I love the detector & no complaints other then the battery issue. Then when it does it’s shutting down thing you have to re tune & reground balance.
