I grabbed this during loyalty discount and holy gosh it's one of my favorite drum machines from UJAM yet. The ONLY complaint I had was VD-DEEP has no brush play, which kind of feels like it should've been here with all the Jazz presets included, but that's literally my only complaint.

Yes, definitely would make a good addition, but I think they'll release a more full-on jazz library.

Thanks, Joshua, for this concise and enjoyable tour trough VD DEEP. This instrument came as one of my fav UJAM drummers, it is like a style and groove time machine that make you able to link the past with the present. The sound and recording is pristine and total faithfully to the original kits. Hi Hats for example exhibit and incredible response. I guess there is round robin for that stunning real articulation and the same for all the drums in the plugin.

Hi great video thanks. I cannot find the link to the video that shows how to route individual drums into your daw. Please help!

Is there a way to turn the styles/presets into midi notes indicating the bass, snare and hi hat, locations?

In FlStudio, HOW do I put together a track? I drag and drop, it lands fine. Try to grab a fill, and when I drop it, the first loop rewrites.

Hey Joshua, this sounds pretty good. One thing that I'm not clear on - the way UJAM describes the Grit slider is "Grit "crossfades between classic closeup mic techniques and various alternative mic setups based on this crazy person's historic knowledge. " So I am confused. It could be a multi-effect to add grittiness to the drums, but then I don't think what UJAM says could be true, since they're speaking in terms of mic setups (which may include full fx chain setups I suppose - but also include different mic recordings). [on second thought, it could be that he simply ran an fx chain on his overheads for each drum set - tube processors of some type - and now that I got to the part of the video where you play them, it sounds like a trim for the overhead signal for each kit, but maybe used different mics as overheads for some kits vs others. ]

I wish i could edit the preset fills and grooves in a regular midi editor (kind like ezdrummer does).
