The rod holder for the bent butt deep rod , Does it go into the seat mount ? Is there a special attachment? I just bought a new 24 Fish pro trophy and will fish offshore for tuna this may be perfect for trolling with a heavy bent butt rig . Thank you. Cool video.

Hi, it mounts to the factory position of where the factory Wake Pole attaches

I didn’t know that the fish pro could have a windshield
@jetskifishing9 ай бұрын
Yes it’s easily added, it is the identical windshield from the Explorer Pro and can be installed by yourself in a few minutes. Note the original Fish Pro Road Cover will no longer fit once installed, you would require the Explorer Pro road cover.

Hey Andrew. Great vid as always! Quick question please, does the rear roller on your GFAB trailer pivot or is it fixed? In the vid it looks like it is fixed (but angled). If so, no issue with beach retrieval if it is fixed? Thanks!
@jetskifishing8 ай бұрын
Hi David, yes the roller is fixed on the angle. So far so good with my retrievals…

Awesome ! What are I using to hold the electric reel !?
@jetskifishing9 ай бұрын
Hi, the electric rod and reel is located in the heavy duty triple rod holder that mounts to where the wake pole option normally fits. It’s easily secures to the factory fittings, order at jetskifishing.co.nz/products/ultimate-seadoo-heavyduty-rodholder-rack

Hi just a quick question. What sort of fishing line do you use for fishing in the ocean not knowing what your going to catch how do you choose the write line ?.
@jetskifishing9 ай бұрын
Hi Jeff Happy to help, for my general soft bait fishing I use a spinning reel soft bait set to catch Snapper with 20 lbs braid/line. For the deep water fish with the electric reel, I am using 80 lbs braid.
@jeffwindrim9759 ай бұрын
@@jetskifishing I don’t get out to the ocean living in central Canada. It’s all fresh water fishing up here. That braided line must be strong stuff. Good luck with the fishing those were cool fish you caught.

@@jeffwindrim975 I’ve fished St Laurence when in Quebec… a beautiful country you live in! The braid breaking strain is much more than nylon 👍 no stretch

Nice fish, but that gaff strap around the wrist is a bad habit to get into.. I'd much rather loose a fish and a gaff then get drug out with no way to turn it loose.. a lot of good mates have died getting their wraps wrong and not being able to let go. Get a floating gaff or carry a spare.

Enjoy the video, but I’m not sure why you guys spend all that money on a Sea-Doo when you could have a decent boat that you could walk around on and have more room seems very cramped
@jetskifishing5 ай бұрын
@@JamesWilson-lg7bx thanks for taking to comment, many of the guys who fish off a Sea-Doo, also own a boat or have owned a boat previously. The general consensus is the ski is more fun getting to and from the spots as they are extremely fun to ride and very quick! We lose a few comforts but the benefits out weigh the negatives, especially being so low to the water and in touch with nature. In New Zealand, boating has got very expensive, the FISH PRO ticks many boxes and makes for great value bang for buck 👍

Electric reels really what’s the point you might as well let commercials guys catch them and go to fishmongers … that’s not a reel 😢
@jetskifishing2 ай бұрын
@@JAaurora2419 I get your pony of view but we don’t have the time or energy to reel in 10 kilometres worth of line depth. We do approximately 20 drops a day in 500 metres of depth, it would be a very experienced angler to retrieve that much line without fatigue and cramps. With 17 years doing the sport and riding massive distances to our spots it’s not a logical idea to enjoy some comforts during our fishing 😄
