Deep Water Seawater Samples Collected Pre-Upwelling Event

The researchers describe the procedures they follow to prepare and measure the primary productivity of the phytoplankton in seawater samples that were collected before the upwelling cycle began. These procedures and measurements will be repeated by this research team as the upwelling cycle begins and continues through the cycle's end.
