Deepen your Backbend Class - Daily Backbending Routine LineUp:

If you're wanting to deepen your backbends, find a daily backbend yoga routine, or learn. how to do a wheel - this is your class! In this yoga for flexibility class, we're going to focus on back stretches and safely entering and deepening your back bend.
It’s often said that you’re only as old as you’re spine - so we’ll breath through this 30 min yoga for spine flexibility class to open our shoulders, chest, and depend our backbend!
These spine flexibility exercises and stretches will help you to create more space and flexibility in your thoracic spine, lumbar spine, and cervical spine. We’ll work on our wheel technique and learn how to train for your bridge and how to train for wheel pose.
Listen to your body with these backbend stretches. It’s important to enter and exit safely when backbend training. Let’s have some fun and get backbending!

Did you love this class or resist it?! No wrong answers. 🙂 Myself, I used to resist backbends very much! But when I practice them regularly and do them with a sense of kindness they become more fun.

I liked this class a lot. I haven't been in wheel pose for a while. This felt nice, and I believe that with a few months of practice, it'll feel even nicer. I need to warm up my wrists the next time though. Anyway, thanks a lot!

I loved this class, with no resistance. Wheel pose is always fun and challenging, and your forearm wheels are just a complete other level. Verrrrrrrry impressive!

You had me at 'no resistance'. I feel like that's the core of Backbends is to not force but rather surrender. I always try to keep that in mind.

@@KateAmberYoga , I completely agree. Backbends are such an awesome mix of both strength and flexibility and some days, when my body feels it, Wheel can be so beneficial and almost relaxing.

Excellent class! It was very intense for me, specially the forearm wheel, I felt it a lot on my right shoulder. But it was a very fun class, that I have to keep practicing. Thank you so much ✨

I loved this class! Because I love backbends. Perfect warm-up and cool down. Camel Swings or you called it rotations are my favorite :-) Sidenote: your forearm wheel looks amay!

I admire that you love Backbends. I am juustt starting to love them myself. (I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders so I have to work on opening them constantly). So glad you did hip openers then backbends bc the open hips help!

First time doing forearm wheel, was surprised that this was sequenced before full wheel with palms on the floor. I couldn’t quite get into it on the first attempt so I tried again and I did but it felt a bit strange. Quads feeling fatigued now, maybe from the earlier classes? Not sure but feel like doing a splits class now.

Hi Kate! That was a lovely sequence and thank you so much for sharing it!! may I make three small recommendations to help make it feel more stable and peace inducing? First, fingers when extended should always be held together instead of spread out. This will contain your energy instead of dissipating it. And then the breath in ujjayi for both the inhale and the exhale in even, steady waves will also give you more energy, strength and flexibility and will permit the movements to be done without strain in the body, breath or mind, and third, instead of rocking in the poses, trying to find one position to be still in it. This stillness will strengthen the muscles supporting the spine and it will also allow for stillness in the mind for a much easier result in the practice (which then continues into daily life!). I hope this helps! 💗 I love your sequences and your marketing is beyond inspiring! Such beautiful videos and intelligently crafted messages and sequences. Thanks again for sharing and inspiring ! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
