The guy that was casting mentioned Carp. Here in the USA a Carp is considered a Junk Fish to most Fisherman. It's just not a Fish that is Targeted. It is a Boney Bottom Feeder Junk Fish that helps to make the waterways cleaner. You might call them a Nature's Vacuum Cleaner.🤢

Guys, the Deeper does not need a wifi or data signal from your phone to operate. It connects to your phone using a wifi signal that the Deeper generates. So no matter where you are it will always be able to connect to your phone. Does that make sense?

It's less about the speed and more about having the top of the deeper being outside the water. So if you can mount it so it stays at the top of the water then ita fine. If you dragging it and it goes under the water then pops up, every time the Deeper dips under the surface you will loose connection

It depends what I'm looking for and how deep the water is. If in doing just a general scan I'd us the 45 but if I'm looking for something that I know is there, I'll use the 20 then 7

The Deeper creates its own wifi Hotspot. So you can be in the middle of the ocean and if your phone is within 100m of the Deeper, you will be comnected

I'm not sure if the 10%works in Japan. Give it a try. To be honest, I liked bothe the Pro+2 and the Chirp+ 2 The chirp sonar is better than the normal sonar in the pro but the pro is more recent so the software in it is the latest and greatest... Its up to you.

The Deeper is the transducer so you can mount it to your boat. It just can't be under the water and has to be on the surface

The rod mount is junk. I have an iPhone 12 at the bottom of my local lake. Came flying off when I casted deeper 🤬

Then you must have not used it properly. Because I have honestly used it for years and my phone has never come out once. It's to the point where it's almost a party trick where I shake my rod over the water to make people panic about my phone but it never comes off. I'm very sorry about your phone and I didn't get to see how you mounted it but from my perspective the phone mount is bloody solid
